Q:
HOW DID MY RESUME GET ON THIS SITE?
A:
Resumes posted on our site are never posted without your
permission.
In fact, if your resume is posted here - it's because you yourself entered the resume
text through another job site. At the time you posted your resume, there was a
'check box' indicating "Display my resume on Free-For-Recruiter.com".
You allowed this box to be 'checked'.
Q:
ON WHAT SITE DID I ORIGINALLY ENTER MY RESUME?
A:
You posted your resume through one of these URLs:
Q:
WHY IS MY RESUME VIEWABLE TO ANYONE ON THE WEB?
A:
One of the features of our site is that recruiters and employers can view all of
the resumes posted on our site without ever paying a fee. This often gives
resumes a larger audience than on most other job sites that charge employers
an 'admission fee' to view resumes. Because of this, the job seeker has a better
chance of getting noticed (and landing a job) through our site.
Q:
WHAT WERE THE PRIVACY DISCLAIMERS FOR MY RESUME?
A:
Towards the bottom of the page that you posted your resume on
(ie: one of URLs above) there was (and still is) the following privacy disclaimer:
"Resumes posted through this site are often publicly viewable on the web by
anyone (possibly including your current employer). If you wish to remain
confidential - do NOT include your name or contact info on your resume."
Q:
MY RESUME IS STILL THERE AFTER YOU SAID IT WAS GONE.
A:
Because your resume is on a static HTML page, it may still appear that
your resume exists on our site even though we told you that it had been removed.
This is most likely because the resume page is stuck in the 'cache' within your
own web browser. Try clicking your browsers refresh button when you are viewing
your resume page. Your resume page may still be listed on the internet search
engines, even though the page no longer exists on our site. In such cases, the
viewer encounters our "page no longer exists" error if they attempt to click on the
link to your previous resume page.
Q:

from there.
