Lead software developer for Substation Integration and Automation group
*Designed and implemented automated substation configuration software utilizing
Microsoft VB .NET and SQL server.
*Designed and implemented web-based timekeeping application used by over 150
employees utilizing Microsoft ASP, C# and SQL Server technologies.
*Developed a suite of services for automated maintenance of transmission
substations using Microsoft C++ and C# .NET.
*Project manager for “MyIEDs” and “SubGuard” product deployments.
Responsibilities include vendor and client interaction, troubleshooting, testing

June 2004-March 2007 Senior Data Integrity Engineer, Bulk Power Operations
*Responsible for analysis and resolution of data issues impacting both the
financial reporting and operational reliability of the Southern Company
Transmission Business Unit (TBU). This included modifications to the
Intercompany Interchange Contract, Transmission Service and Generation Balancing
Service Bills.
*Facilitated the resolution of data related problems between various entities,
including Operating Company Transmission Control Centers, metering groups and
technical services, Southern Company Generation and numerous adjoining
companies.

*Designed and implemented the Energy Logs Data System, a Java-based data-driven
energy accounting system for the Southern Electric System. Responsibilities
included requirements gathering from customers, data and object modeling, UI
prototyping, end-to-end system implementation, end-user training and
maintenance.
*Developed and implemented a web-based inventory control system for EMS hardware
assets.

*Designed and implemented the Ten Minute Logs System, a web-based data
warehouse. Tasks included Informix 9I database design and administration, HTML

*Implementation of OASIS (On-line Access Same-time Information System) – a
web-based transmission scheduling tool. Responsibilities included database
design and implementation and stored procedure programming on the Sybase 11.5
database platform.
