I have over 20 years experience in computer application design, programming, and
implementation. I have over 15 years of mainframe programming experience in
COBOL, Assembler, and Easytrieve. I also have experience with CICS, TSO, JCL,
and SQL query language on the mainframe. I can also read HTML but have not
written an application in this language.
I have over 30 years of experience working with users to determine what they
need and designing integrated applications to meet those needs. I have designed
Accounts Receivable, Receiving, Invoicing, Inventory Control, Order Entry, and
Order Processing applications and many others. I have also served on several QIT
(Quality Improvement Teams) along with users of all levels in the organization to
analyze existing programs and processes to make them more efficient.
I also started a QA group for Bergen Brunswig Medical and was involved in the
start up of a customer Helpdesk at Durr Fillauer.
In addition I was in the USAR for 12 years. I was a WO1 in Data Processing at
the time of my discharge. As a warrant officer in the data processing field I had
a Secret clearance.

I worked with IT staff and Business users to develop project documentation,
budgets, disaster recovery plans, and requirements. Developed and managed
project schedules using Microsoft Project. Developed test plans and participated
in testing application enhancements. Diagramed data and work flow processes
using VISIO. Extensive use of MS Word, Excel and Project. I also used TSO,
mainframe CICS applications, and wrote a few Easytrieve programs to analyze and
validate data.. Distributed applications I worked on include Lockbox, Association
Services (coupon and payment services).

4,000 customer sites, handling over 10,000 calls per month. Supervised level two
technical support of PC based applications. Supervised Encore system development
activities. Managed cross area projects using MS Project. I assisted the
transition of Bergen customer support technical helpdesk activities to
AmerisourceBergen’s regional helpdesk after acquisition. Developed and
maintained budgets for 4 cost centers. Developed and used Microsoft Access to

development. Started and managed a Systems Quality Assurance department for BB
Medical using automated testing tools like Mercury Test Director and WinRunner.
Performed Y2K risk analysis on BBMC hardware and software. Developed the Y2K
project plan, using Microsoft Project, for all BBMC software and hardware
platforms (Mainframe, AS/400, PC). Provided Information Resources support in the
start up of new BBMC divisions and the consolidation of several BBMC divisions.
Planned for and managed the transition of Bergen Brunswig Medical Company (BBMC)

to verify test results, accuracy of applications, improve performance, and
provide management with reports. . Supervised a mainframe application support
and development group. Implemented start up of a Customer Support Help Desk to

Desk data to determine growing resource needs and recommended system changes and
corrections that would improve customer satisfaction and reduce the number of
calls received by the Help Desk. Member of the conversion team to compare Durr
