EXPERIENCE

  

Team Lead/Senior Programmer Analyst (2006-present)

- Architect and lead programmer of Cadence, the company’s second major
application and predictably the next flagship product.  Solely created over 70%
of the application, from its origins in the design phase to its current
marketable release.  It is expected that this revolutionary application will
double the company’s current revenue and bring it to the top position in its new
market.
- One of two team members responsible for hiring all new developers in a phase
of rapid growth.  Accountable for creating a cohesive team while maintaining a
high level of productivity.
- Providing guidance to junior level programmers on technical and architectural
issues.  Assisted with the successful turnaround and completion of a failing
junior level project which was part of the largest account in company history.
- Rewriting and redesigning an existing VB6 application into VB.NET, while
maintaining the existing code-base through the use of COM interoperability. 
Researched and engineered an innovative way of using existing VB6 screens as part
of a .NET application.  This process allows for simultaneous development of new
.NET code and maintenance of the current VB6 code as part of the same
application.
- Working closely with a business analyst and directly with customers to gather
requirements and ensure the application has global appeal to target users. 
Unique ability to speak with customers, understand and deliver exactly what they
are requesting in a small amount of time.
- Researching and recommending third party tools to significantly shorten the
development time of applications, while allowing for greatly enhanced

Programmer Analyst

- Employed VB, VBA, and C/C++ in developing and maintaining a code base of
automation tools used to speed the process of PATRIOT flight simulation data
analysis.  Provided the ability to give a quick first-look on site in minutes
instead of having to wait hours for manual analysis.
- Traveled in support of PATRIOT missile flight tests, as well as software
design and review meetings.  Team member for the Defense Design System Exerciser
application, which created and maintained a C++ simulation tool used in designing
missile defense system lay-downs. 
 
Programmer Analyst Intern
 (2000-2003)

- Approved for a secret level security clearance in order to work on the PATRIOT
system analysis contract. 
- Developed a tool to analyze raw data, which cut preliminary analysis from
hours to seconds.  Converted a much used simulation tool from FORTRAN to C.
