Developed and implemented a highly available, multi-threaded/multi-process
server
to facilitate and automate network provisioning of numerous types of network
equipment, including DSLAMs (from more than a dozen vendors), ATM switches,
Ethernet switches and edge routers for Windstream's diverse broadband access
network. Server handles approximately one million requests per week. Automated
configuration of network equipment via LDAP, SNMP, TL1 and Telnet protocols.
Developed a customized queuing discipline for processing requests
appropriately.
Dec 2004 -- May 2007: Web Developer
Mission Data International, Siloam Springs, AR
Improved search engine for shorttermmissions.com, using Ajax and MySQL.
Developed an SQL-intensive directory view of the search data. Integrated
website
with phpBB web forum software. Developed photo upload/resizing/rotating tool.
Developed an Ajax-based article publishing/editing tool. Developed a media
auditing
tool for moderating photos and other content. Developed a log-processing tool
