Experience Summary : 
1.	Physiological monitoring systems 2008-2010 April with ReliSen L.L.C.
(www.ReliSen.com):
The vision of the project is to improve the health and wellbeing of the society
through health awareness and early diagnostics via low cost wearable wireless
physiological monitoring systems.  Developed a GPRS based heart monitoring
systems that is capable of monitoring patients remotely and transmits the ECG
data wirelessly via mobile communications networks to hospital based monitoring
station. The system consists of software and hardware components.  The system
provides the service for the patient as well as for the doctors in case of an
alarm and also stores the data and generates automatic service charges and
reports. The sports version of this system is in the market.  I lead the team and
finished it within two years (C++,VC++, MASM, C#, Oracle, ASP.Net, Silverlight
,UML). 

2.	Automated  record and lab sheets generator 2008 April -2009 October At
Consumer Testing Laboratories Inc USA(www.consumertesting.com):
I worked as the lead engineer in the team that developed and maintained a system
that generates automated lab sheets for the consumer products regulatory testing
results. The sheets are generated automatically depending on the products being
tested and Wal-Mart regulations and standards and other retail and federal and
states regulations and laws. The system is implemented to work without any errors
so that it is automated. Also the system tracks the progress of the tests and
provides real time analytical and monitoring tools for the systems system service
providers.  Due to the Wal-Mart and other retails high volumes the system was
designed to work under heavy network traffic. In addition the system generates
automated compliancy certificates for the vendors and Wal-Mart and other
retailers. I coded the system in VBA and SQL which is very cost effective and MS
access is used as the database.
 
3.	Worked at Textronics Inc USA (Invista spin off) acquired by adidas
2005-Feb-2007-Feb (www.Textronicsinc.com) :
Engineered Numetrex™ heart rate monitor.

4.	Electromechanical Analysis of electronic fabric sensors and transducer
systems for ECG monitoring 
      2002-2005 Feb at University of Manchester UK (www.UMIST.ac.uk):
I used C++ and Matlab for mathematical modelling of electro-mechanical behaviour
of the fabric sensors for My Ph.D. Designed and developed computer interfacing of
the electrocardiogram signals picked up by the Sensors. A GUI for real time
signal display  analysis and recording system with C++, VC++ VB. The work was
resulted a university spin off company in Manchester UK( University of Manchester
and smart life technologies) US awarded the green card for the contributions in
the wearable computing field.

5.	Automated fault detector remote stations 2001 Feb -2002 Dec Sri Lanka Telecom
(www.slt.lk) : 
This project is very important fault detection and fault prevention in unmanned
remote exchanges in Sri Lanka. I worked as the programming engineer. The system
was implemented in C/C++ and Oracle database on Unix platform. When the station
generates an error the system detects it try to solve it automatically and logged
the info and if it cannot resolve the issue messages are sent to the engineer and
the dispatch units to resolve the issue before it goes to the failure mode.  

6.	VOIP system to replace the PABX  2001 Jan -2002Feb(www.slt.lk & University of
Moratuwa Sri Lanka www.mrt.ac.lk) :
A software based PABX server and stand alone IP phones were developed and
implement on using the LAN. My involvement in the project was to develop the PABX
server on a PC and troubleshoot the final system. The system replaced the
existing PABX system in the University (C,C++,VB, VC++,ASM).
 
7.	Parole and students records system 1997-2001 Jan (National institute of
Business Management Sri Lanka www.nibm.lk) :
I work part time as a computer programmer in NIBM Sri Lanka. Programmed a
student record system that records the student data and records (C++,VB, SQL,
DBASE)
