Senior Programmer Analyst responsible for developing technical specs, developing
unit test cases and was responsible for developing the String Test Strategy
document as well as the String Testing test cases for the project.  

I was assigned to code 25 new COBOLII DB2 report programs and developed
electronic letters to be sent to the customer using the  IBM AFP custom print
language interface. I was also assigned CICS program changes supporting new
requirements.

Additionally I was assigned to assist the QA Analyst for the project in writing
Queries for data mining,
And determining the data mining requirements.
	

Salt River Project (SRP), Tempe, Az  (05/06 – 11/06)
QA Analyst responsible for developing and executing test cases in a Web based
application. Test cases were developed from the functional design document .
Responsible for planning the sequence of the test case execution to span over
five logical days, documenting failures in an Access DB.  Verifying and gathering
 Test Data, validating test results using the GUI screens, Spufi queries in DB2
tables, mainframe flat files, and reports.  Worked closely with other QA
Analysts, developers and the business experts, identifing and help resolve
defects in the enhancements of  SRP's Billing.  Provided input in Test Case
planing and documentation for future UAT activities.


State Compensation Insurance Fund (SCIF), San Francisco, CA  (04/01 – 05/06)
Application Analyst responsible for supporting the DB2 Policy Data download to
the AMS ORACLE Server.
Provided data mapping, overall system design to accommodate the download from
the  Policy and Claims systems,  DB2 Reporting System design, coding a total of
34 new programs and modifying 97, Data Modeling of new tables, recommendations
for changes to the DB2 version of the Vendor tables, QA Support, debugging
issues, and making recommendations for solutions. Lead programmer analyst  on
various projects within the Policy financial, reporting and auditing subsystems.

Primary Production Support for the off-shift production run of the DB2 Policy
System.  Operational interface to programming and Operations for ongoing system
improvements. 


Charles Schwab, San Francisco, CA  (8/00 – 04/01)
Senior Consultant responsible for Quality Assurance Testing of Oracle extracts
to the
Mainframe for three interfacing systems as well as changes to the nightly batch
updates from Mainframe to the Oracle database.  

Responsibilities include reviewing business requirements, project test data and
plans, Mainframe CICS screens, the DB2 data model, GUI screens on a client server
platform, and the Oracle data model.  The SQL Navigator tool was used to query
the Oracle database, Unix shell scripts were created  to extract data from the
database creating data to be shipped to the mainframe which would then update the
DB2 tables. Worked closely with the developers to hands-on test their
application.   Spufi was then used to query and verify the mainframe DB2 tables.

Test scripts were written to test and validate the CICS transactions, nightly
batch updates to the Oracle database and batch updates to the DB2 tables from
Oracle batch extracts.

Lead the End-to-End Validation effort, entering data into the mainframe,
insuring Expected results are applied to DB2, expected results are applied to
Oracle, Updates to Oracle via the GUI screens, then expected results back to the
mainframe.  This involved running numerous mainframe jobs and Unix scripts  as
well. 

 
  CSAA, San Francisco, CA  (8/99 – 8/00)                   
Senior Consultant responsible for coordinating and leading the Quality Assurance
Testing of  the Homeowners Insurance software package using Windows N/T
Workstations,  Citrix Servers and an Oracle database.

Responsibilities include  gathering and reviewing business requirements,
evaluation of the package software documentation and the Rate Filing with the
Department of Insurance, development of the Statement of Work, test case
preparation, preparation of the project schedule. Identifying costs and other
resources.  Test case and script preparation and result tracking and resolution.
