WORK EXPERIENCE 
Sept 2008 – Present Shasta Industries, Phoenix AZ – Brought in by IBM Direct
Blue to design, develop,   
implement, system test and integration of JDE functions to Salesforce.com. This
work effort involved writing programs to read and write CSV files soon to be XML
files of JDE to Salesforce.com, journaling of files and writing programs to
retrieve the journal information using the special IBM API’S. I am also teaching
a five week XML course, one hour per week. I am also implementing PHP from Zend
Core for web development.          
Feb 2005 – Aug 2008 JDA Software Group, Scottsdale AZ MMS contract consultant
for the following:     
Mervyns – Brought in to handle production problems as they migrated to their new
retail ERP system. I wrote many programs in RPG/ILE to fix data, programs and
also new development as they were on deadline to go live and more production help
after the go live –EDI, Purchase Orders. 
Roger Video – Created new sales reports in RPG/ILE and interfaces from their
daily point-of-sale information and also redesign the technical document 
Cabelas – Brought in to help their MMS implementation, but for first 6 months
work on help desk production problems from legacy to their new retail ERP system
and another  16 months writing technical’s, and new development all written in
RPG/ILE. 
Aug 2006 – Nov 2006 Ewing Irrigation, Phoenix AZ – Re-Engineered their WEB
Application on their  
AS400 using Common Gateway Interface to create Dynamic Web Pages using
JavaScript to output HTML script for the web browser. Configured the HTTP Apache
Server	    
Jan 2002 –Feb 2005 Owen Enterprises Inc. Tempe, AZ - Director/AS400 –Systems

Designed, developed, and implemented a check acceptance solution that provides
service that identifies items drawn on high risk accounts before being accepted
at the point-of-sale.

programs to interface to Arthur Planning
BBW - Rewrote base polling handler for POS, developed a new deal pricing to
replace JDA base price event system. Sales Audit issues, Store Operations

Franks Nursery – Implemented JDA MMS.  Provides technical support for conversion
from IBM 3090 and installation of a new AS/400 platform.  Major modifications to

Jan 1992 – Aug 1995	JDA SOFTWARE SERVICES ,  Phoenix, AZ – Project leader
	Directly responsible for 6 Programmer/Analyst’s in the development of a RF that
controlled the picking, putaway’s, letdowns and carton/pallet control for their
warehouse application within their retail management system. Developed the SDI
(Store Data Interchange) interface programs on the AS/400 to effectively receive
store polling data and update sales audit files stock ledger and inventory files.
Client’s included Kitchen’s Etc., Chanel, Natural Wonders, Franklin Mint,
Designs, Penn-Daniels, Helzberg Diamonds, and Rogers Jewelers, BBW etc.
	1978 – 1992 	TECHNICAL RESULTS, INC: Kensington, CT – Director  of Ops &
Marketing
	Directly responsible for user interface, feasibility studies, and systems
analysis programming, testing, quality assurance and implementation of many
interactive financial and manufacturing systems written in RPG/400, RPG III,
COBOL/400 on a constancy basis utilizing System 3/X and AS/400 equipment.
Assignments include:
SOFTWARE 2000 (IBM Business Partner)- Worked primary on the DM/2000
(Distribution) and PM/2000 (Purchasing) applications designing, programming and
implementing enhancements and corrections to these products at their beta test
sites.
INFORMATION SOFTWARE (IBM Business Partner)- Replicated  their PC Mileage and
Routing software targeted for the transportation industry to run on AS/400.
VISITING NURSES ASSOCIATION  - Project Manager responsible for all custom
in-house systems including development of new human resource management system
that ran on multiple AS/400’s.
OTIS ELEVATOR  - Developed a RMA system that allowed them to track PC boards
from the time an order was placed, received and finally repaired. Developed many
bar-coding applications to facilitate the order picking and shipping of elevator
parts.
STARTER SPORTSWEAR - Project responsibility for the entire conversion of their
manufacturing system  running on DEC to Apparel Business Systems to run on a
AS/400.
