- Took lead in making documents in preparation for the assessment and evaluation
of the software process improvement of PGS in CMM (Capability and Maturity Model)
Level 2.  
- Have lead and managed 10 software developers in developing a Remote PNET
Maintenance Center that manages the computer network of the Japan Ministry of
Post and Telecommunication using the Internet.  This was a sub-project from QNCOS
(subsidiary of NEC Japan in Kyushu, Japan). Phase 1 has 5 modules while phase 2
has 9.  Was also present in the QNCOS acceptance testing in Kyushu, Japan.  Key
Contribution: Programmed the Alarm Control module.  The alarm control module was
a client/server application consist of five client/server pairs.  Programmed the
five (5) servers in one process using POSIX multithreading functions.  Alarm data
was retrieved from an Oracle database and saved into memory using linked list. 
These alarm data were then passed to the clients for processing.  Also, reviewed
the client programs.  Did unit test of each server and client programs and
combination test of all servers and clients. 
- Also lead and managed 7 software developers in the development of a News
Translation and Delivery System which translates and delivers news via the
Internet.  It includes three Web pages of the FTP information display window
(add, modify and delete screens) using C/CGI and Oracle database (ProC).  Was
part of code review and testing.
- Created, facilitated and conducted in-house training programs for the software
developers with topics on Algorithms, UNIX, C-language, C++, Java and Oracle.

converts them to MS Access databases for analysis and manipulation.
- Programmed and tested modules in the Sony COROMS Conversion (to Unix) Project.
 Sony COROMS, a Unix-based banking software, was revised and converted to run
under Solaris OS and SunOS. 
- Programmed and tested eight (8) backend diagnostic modules for Nippon
Telegraph and Telephone’s (NTT) Personal Handyphone System (PHS) Caramel Project.
The diagnostic modules developed receive data from an Oracle database server and
then process and send converted data to PC clients using TCP/IP. 
- Redesigned, reprogrammed and tested UIM/X and Motif windows for Toshiba
Engineering’s Fail Bit Chip Project.  The global variables of the original
programmers were removed and made the functions as structured or modular as
possible. 
- Converted and tested modules of the Kokusai Denshin Denwa (KDD) Laboratories
Image Processing programs from FORTRAN to C. 
- Programmed four (4) Motif / UIM/X windows for Toshiba Corporation’s Power
Supply Monitoring System.  The windows created had canvasses that showed graphs
of statistical data of Oracle databases of the ten electric companies in Japan.
- Delivered a Rightstuff Utility Window program that automatically creates the
window with the number of buttons, canvases, and panels specified in a
configuration file.  For a dynamic window with any number of widgets, a linked
list for each type of widget was used
- Designed and programmed the windows and processing functions for the Osaka
City Hall Mapping Project and converted ARC/INFO GIS data into map text data. 
The map text data, given in x and y coordinates,  was read and the map was drawn
on a Neuron Data window using mathematical computations.
- Customized NTTI DMS Telop for Thai Telegraph and Telephone (TT&T) in Bangkok,
Thailand to show and use their AutoCAD maps and data. 
- Programmed two (2) Xview Windows for the Digital Photogrammetric Workstation
project of Pasco Corporation of Tokyo, Japan. Windows programmed include one that
returns the coordinates of the point selected and a window with a canvass that
shows the cartographic images and maintains the database of images for the
project. 
- Designed and programmed the facilities management and subscriber information
modules of the NTTI DMS Telop (Design and Management System for
Telecommunications Outside Plant  of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone International
of Japan).  The functions done were the overlaying of the road map to the
distribution point/exchange and subscriber map to select the shortest route from
exchange to subscriber using the networking capacity of ARC/INFO.
- Enhanced and made changes to the Nissan (Kanagawa) Accident Database in Lotus
Notes format. This included creating macros for Nissan’s statistical usage.
