I am a developer from the USA with strong education
background as well as solid work experience at IBM
Research.
At IBM Research, I was employed as Staff Software Engineer.
My principal role was software testing; various kinds; system, performance,
functional.
My programming skills were heavily employed to create,
generate, execute test cases; to report results;
to develop testing tools; for test automation.
The position also involved interacting with remote
teams, testing documentation, providing assistance
with deployment.
My education background includes a Bachelor degree in
Computer Science from Stanford University; a certificate
in Personal Software Process, from Carnegie Mellon University,
which introduced a framework for making improvements in work
that is to be done as a product line or repeatedly;
a handful of graduate courses in Applied Computer Science.
I am very excited to be returning back to work after
taking some time off.

Explored a unique approach to software development that uses the fundamental
ideas of object oriented programming to produce software that tries to model and
simulate an application domain.

Implemented a database system as a class project on UNIX using C++ and
object-oriented methods. The project was mostly an individual effort, providing
implementations to object interfaces that formed the components of the system.
The components were thoroughly tested as they were completed. An analysis of the
design choices made in the form of a documentation was also provided.
4/00-7/00, Protocol Project: FTP Client, GTK Perl
Quarter-long project consisting of a proposal, documentation, demo, and a
multi-module application. Developed an FTP client, based on the Simple File
Transfer Protocol, implemented using the Gimp Toolkit for Perl, and targeted for
Solaris. The final results included a GUI client that supports user access
control, file transfers, directory listing/changing, file renaming/deleting.
