- Development of XML-based registration APIs 
Developed and maintained the application programming interface that is used to
communicate with billing system for account creation and maintenance. The
application programming interface, written in Java, is functioning on the web and
registration servers. It is a set of the XML-based APIs (XML Collective) under
the Kronos Framework which is used to interact with Earthlink Back End
databases.
Created new XML Collective API to let EarthLink Customers to join/unjoin the Gig
Mail Service. Used J2EE API and IMAP Server Protocols. 
Modified the XML Collective APIs by replacing Java business components with
style sheets for XML transformation. XMLSpy tool was used for these
modifications.
Created new interaction mechanism between the modified XML Collective APIs and
Back End using the Business Process Execution Language (BPEL).

- Configuration Management and Release Engineering
Managed the XML Collective releases by branching, merging and tagging source
code in CVS on the Solaris 10 and UNIX build boxes. Also used the WinCVS and
Netbeans IDE 5.5 client tools for version control.
Worked with developers to resolve merging conflicts.
Built the Debian Packages by using ANT build scripts and delivered releases on
regular basis. Deployed modules on QE servers and worked with QE team on issues
encountered during testing.

- Development of Logging and Reporting Statistics
Developed and maintained the Log4j logging of the XML Collective processes into
Oracle production database, using JBoss Application Server messaging service.
Created and maintained the XMLC Daily Report Generator, written in Java, using
log data from the Oracle production database. Used JDBC API to send SQL
statements to data source.
Created and maintained the web-based Admin Console tool written in Java. This
tool is used to provide troubleshooting and status reporting functions for all
XML Collective API, regardless on which server they are launched.
