My final position as HR Training/Development Specialist sparked my desire to
pursue a career in Human Resources. In this role, I developed and facilitated
training workshops and seminars for new hires and staff. I was the point person
for training and partnered with the HR department to ensure new employees were
on-boarded, integrated and fully equipped with the tools necessary to
successfully perform their job. I also moderated focus groups to gather feedback
from existing staff relative to future development opportunities. I created
trainings and facilitated seminars on numerous topics to ensure professional
development and career tracking was an accessible opportunity.
