William Wade

I am very entrepreneurial by nature and have proven so through passed careers. I
have 18 years experience in the printing and direct mail industry as a sales
manager. I also started and ran a successful mail order wines business for 25
years. I also currently own a small private label wine business.

•	I have always been confident in my sales ability, am a self starter,
articulate, and am confident in dealing with senior decision makers.
•	I spent many years cold calling new business, and maintaining these
relationships in a timely and organized manner. At Modern Printing and Mailing
within three years I was promoted to sales manager.
•	During this time I developed one of the first wine-of-the-month programs in
the country – WineMaster. At the time this was a very novel concept in the
industry. It took a great deal of creativity, initiative, and hard work to create
this program which I ran for 25 years.
•	The position required using my expertise learned through my printing and
direct mail employment in order to market the business. I was responsible for
producing all marketing material, a monthly newsletter, and all inner office
procedures. I also handled all shipping and billing requirements.
•	It also required me to become familiar with fine wine, and the wine industry
as a whole. Relationships were developed with hundreds of wineries, as well as
all local wine distributors. At that time, wineries had never heard of a wine
club. Today it is one of their greatest sources of income. 




PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

President								Jan. 2007 – present
Wade Kerr Wine Company						         Fallbrook, CA

The Wade Kerr Wine Company produces private label wines under the names of Guy
Harvey Wine,	- www.guyharveywine.com, and Pink Ribbon Wines –
www.pinkribbonwines.com. Guy Harvey is a famous marine artist with a $20,000,000
annual sales from his sport fishing clothing line and art sales. Wine sales have
been $350,000 to date. Pink Ribbon Wines was developed to raise funds for the
Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

•	My responsibilities for the Wade Kerr Wine Company were to procure the wines,
develop and design the label, produce marketing materials, and establish
relationships with individual wine distributors in each state where the wines are
marketed.
•	I’ve hired 2 brokers who are responsible to work directly with distributors,
and to open new markets. I oversee the sales of both wines.

•	Entry level printing sales. Within 3 years was I promoted to sales manager. I
was then responsible for hiring the sales force and over seeing much of the
production responsibilities. Very detail oriented, with time sensitive deadlines.
I worked with businesses of all sizes, fulfilling a multitude of functions.
