* I have over 30 years of Data Processing and Information

Professional Experience
2008 LiveTouch.net, Inc. Alameda, CA.
Contractor
* Helped complete the migration of LiveTouch.net's z/OS system to
an IBM data center in Dallas.
* Helped with the migration of LiveTouch.net's application from
SAS/C to IBM C.
* Helped migrate the application to CICS TS 3.2.
1998 – 2008 Integral Systems, Inc. Carol Stream, IL.
Manager, Information Technology (03/05)
* Had complete responsibility for Integral’s IT infrastructure,
department, and staff.
* Handled all IT requirements for Integral’s Carol Stream and
Allendale offices.
* Handled all IT requirements for all remote staff.
* Was responsible for working and communicating with IT vendors,
including IBM, Dell, and Microsoft.
* Moved Integral’s corporate office from Walnut Creek, CA, to
Allendale, MI. This involved moving the internal network/servers,
mainframe, and phone system, relocating all employees to home
offices, and clearing out the office space.
* Was responsible for the building and administration of all
databases, including DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL
* Migrated Integral’s email from Exchange server to a web-based
service provider.
* Upgraded their Windows NT based domain to a Windows Server
2003 Active Directory domain.
* Consolidated several physical servers into virtual servers using
VMware.
* Migrated Integral’s primary AD domain controller to a Windows
Server 2003 64-bit environment.
* Was named Integral’s Employee of the Year for 2006, and received
an Outstanding Service Award in 2001.
Systems Programmer (10/98)
* Had complete responsibility for all of Integral’s mainframe
environments, which included OS/390 and z/OS, z/VM, VSE/ESA,
and s/390 Linux.
* Also maintained Integral’s HP-UX environment, and several
Windows servers.
* Supported IT department in troubleshooting and resolving
LAN/WAN networking and server issues.
* Worked closely with Integral’s development staff supporting their
use of the mainframe and server environments.
* Provided environmental technical support to Integral clients.
* Upgraded all mainframe environments and software for Year 2000
compliance, including the upgrade of several Cisco router.
* Replaced all 3380/3390 DASD with RAMAC2 technology. This not
only stabilized Integral’s mainframe environment, it also produced
and monthly savings of approximately $4000 on support costs.
* Replaced two ES/9000 model processors with an MP3000 7060
processor. This not only increased processing power and stability,
it also resulted in a significant savings software and hardware
costs, along with a savings in environmental costs, such as
electricity.
* Completed verification testing of Integral’s mainframe products in
a 64-bit z/Architecture environment.
* Implemented one of Integral’s server based products in an HP-
UX/Oracle environment.
* Replaced the MP3000 processor with a T3 Technologies tServer
system (an Intel x86 based mainframe environment using Flex-ES).
* Assisted in the development of disaster recovery procedures and
documentation

Consulting Systems Engineer (1/98)
* Supported and maintained several language compilers (Cobol, PLI)
along with Language Envrionment (LE) in several VM/ESA systems.
* Assisted with the administrator of SQL/DS for VM databases
* Supported Beyond Software’s EnterpriseWeb Calendar product.
* Had backup support responsibility for ADSM/VM, TCP/IP, and
EnterpriseWeb server product.
1996 – 1997 BHP Information Technology San Francisco, CA.
Principal Systems Programmer (9/96)
* Had complete responsibility for BHP’s mainframe environment.
This included hardware and software planning, installation,
maintenance, management, and support.
* Completely replaced/upgraded BHP’s mainframe hardware
environment, including processor, DASD, tape, and network
connectivity.
* Successfully completed disaster recovery test at offsite
data center
* Last project completed was researching SAP R/3 implementation
under Windows NT Server with Oracle, and the researching of
enterprise storage options to support the storage needs for SAP
R/3 and the migration of all NetWare servers to Windows NT
Server.
