Answered phones, and scheduled appointments. Set up the computer system, wrote
letters to clients and other lawyers. Filed and maintained all client records.

2001-2002 Accounts Payable, Paso Robles GMC (temporary position through an
agency)
Maintained all of the accounts payable duties including entering the invoices
into the system, matching the invoices to the packing slips. Tracking missing
packing slips, contacting vendors for copies of invoices. Running of the
accounts payable checks, and organizing them for the owners to go through and
sign. Special projects for the office manager in Excel that included setting up
spreadsheets to track information. Entering in the daily deposits on accounts
and from cash sales and then taking them to the bank.
2002-2004 Accounts Payable/Receivable, Pete Johnston’s Auto Center
Handled all of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties including,

monthly statements to customers, and received payments. Matched packing slips to
invoices and entered them into the system. I also handled all of the towing
income and the income from the Quick Lube Oil Center. This duty included
creating reports to show the owner the profit and loss from these side
businesses. I maintained the Verizon Wireless advertising co-op account, and
helped to create the ads. Helped the Office Manager with payroll, and other
duties.
2004-Current Finance and Human Resources Manager, DeCou Lumber Company & ACE
Hardware
In charge of the financial reports including the Profit and Loss Statements, and
the Balance Sheets. Maintain all of the records on QuickBooks, and Dataline.
Balance the end of the month reports and input the data into excel to get the end
of the month entries to enter in QuickBooks. In charge of the payroll records,
human resources paperwork, maintaining the records, and taking care of all
aspects of Human Resources. Assist with computer technical problems including
contacting technical support for problems with our computer systems. Answer
directly to the President of the company.
