Quality, HS&E Manager	

$43 million firm specializing in repairing and overhauling Rolls-Royce turbine
engines.

Selected to create and manage certified ISO 9001:2000 quality management system
with accountability for health, safety, and environmental programs. Direct and
train seven employees with two additional reports in Houston, TX and France.
Manage $500,000 operating budget to support operations for engine testing
facility. 

Selected Achievements
•	70% cut in OSHA reported injuries & workman’s compensation claims in
two-year period by instituting training programs and guidelines for acceptable
health & safety practices that turned around and increased quality and safety
across organization.  
•	Eliminated potential financial liability to firm after designing and
deploying compliant Health, Safety, and Environmental training program to educate
100+ employees in meeting safety/OSHA workplace requirements.

of engine that averted timely delays and faulty engine being shipped to customer

evaluating up to 100 military and civilian personnel performing scheduled and
unscheduled maintenance on various heavy aircraft (C-5, KC-10, KC-135). Authored
aircraft servicing checklist and provided related training for 10 flight crews to
use when maintenance crews were unavailable, enhancing their capabilities to
continue missions without delays.

•	Maintained a zero recordable incident rate for five consecutive years
supervising up to 100 employees performing maintenance on large heavy aircraft. 
•	33% cut in aircraft post inspection-process shift hours and elimination of
40% of workforce produced by improvement of processes to realign key resources
that ensured equal distribution of skill sets across each shift. 
•	30% improvement in aircraft mission readiness secured by assigning teams to
