1995 to Present: McNabb Residential Appraisals: Full service residential
appraisal
firm, including full-form appraisals, drive-bys, desk and field reviews, etc.
1993 to 1994: Fidelity Federal Bank: VP and Wholesale Appraisal Manager.
Appraising and reviewing highly complex residential properties, maintaining
wholesale quality, formulating and implementing wholesale appraisal policies and
procedures, hiring staff, maintaining departmental budget, developing approved
appraiser list and functioning as the liaison with various appraisal groups.
Reported to Tom O’Neil, MAI.
1989 to 1993: Bank of America: District Appraisal Manager (Cerritos and Costa
Mesa Offices), supervised an appraisal staff of up to twenty-five employees.
Regional Wholesale Review Appraiser, responsible for most Southern California
Counties. Reported to Everett Fenton, MAI.
1988 to 1989: Sears Mortgage Company: Regional Wholesale Review Appraiser, for
most Southern California Counties. Worked directly with underwriters re.
appraisals.
1987 to 1988: Verex Assurance, Inc. (PMI insurance): Real Estate Analyst for
the Western Region, responsible for an eleven-state area. Duties included
assisting underwriters in appraisal reviews, assessing the viability of attached
housing projects, prepared regular reports on the local residential real estate
market for major communities within the region, and conducted seminars and
training sessions for Verex staff and/or customer groups.
1977 to 1986: McNabb Appraisers and Consultants: Staff appraiser under Charlie
McNabb, MAI, SRPA (past Southern California Chapter President of both the
Appraisal Institute and the Society of Real Estate Appraisers). Appraised a wide
range of residential, commercial and industrial properties.
