With over 12 years of Corporate, Education, Medical, State and Local Government
sales, I have a better then average understanding how to communicate effectively
and present technical solutions for customer needs. In addition I have managed
account executives to reach their goals and targets. I was self-employed for 16
years prior to beginning my sales career.

As the “hunter” for new business in the Northern California area was able to
reach out to Chief Executive Officers, IT professionals, Hospital Administrators
and Higher Education IT departments. Tripp Lite does not sell direct but rather
through resellers and channel departments. Working from a home office I was able
to achieve targets and goals. Maintain a full pipeline and was proficient using
Sales Force contact relation management tool. Using my vase networking skills was
able to secure a number of opportunities plus cultivate new ones. Understanding
how internal software functions is key as well.
Working with Marketing to conduct seminars, webinars, assist with trade shows,
and other marketing related events in territory. Work with Customer Service to
ensure that customers are well supported. Travel to customer locations, marketing

MDV1 created an online video editing platform to assist surgeons in
reconstructing their surgical procedures for training purpose.

Officers and provide appropriate contract negotiations.

Responsible for managing 9 account executives in the Bay Area. My region covered
the entire Northern California from Bakersfield to the Oregon state line. Our
team was the #2 team in all of Gateway US. We were well over 25% of quota each
quarter and yearly targets. Our focus was B2B, Healthcare, Education and Local
Governments. I maintain each account executive file and provided company
training, support and goal setting. I managed several pipelines and provided
proper counseling. We sold hardware, services and software licenses.
1995-2000 District Training Manager, CompUSA-San Jose, CA
Managed 3 CompUSA training locations. San Jose, Santa Clara and Pleasanton.
Set up training rooms with appropriate servers and networking solutions.
Worked with a team of instructors, employees, account executives and department
managers to increase training sales revenue by 19% five years in a row.
Prior to becoming the Training Manager I was the account executive for the San
Jose location. I was the top training executive for the entire Bay Area.
Including the state of California.
I was the top sales person and the holder of the largest training sale to a
government agency for Western US.
My responsibilities included selling to corporations, government both local and
federal. Plus I sold into K-12 and higher Ed. Speaking to Chief Executive
Officers, IT, and Procurement. Understanding complicated software and how it was
to be utilized was key.

Right out of college I purchased a carpet and upholstery cleaning franchise.
Building a brand new territory from the ground up I was able to have 8 fully
operational trucks on the road with as many as 12 full time employees. I was
responsible for maintaining company records, quarterly taxes, employee taxes,
workers compensation, state and federal taxes. Plus selling to commercial real
estate, corporations and residential for continued customer growth. I sold the
company to begin a sales position in corporate America.
