    1. Project Title:  Air Transport Communication and IT Support (SITA)
Manager.
                                                                                
                                                        (June 2007 - July 2008).
   Project Description:  
     SITA Manager is a comprehensive web based management interface that offers
a common infrastructure for the integration of SITA Common Use Passenger
Processing System (CUPPS) PC terminal and the Nortel Communication Server 1000
(CS1000) switches. Enables single sign on of IP phones when airline staff logs
into SITA terminals. 
     This is the major product for Air Transport Communication and IT Support as
it allows them to support advanced and unified communications across locations. 
       
   Client: Nortel Networks and Mumbai International Airport (MIAL) 
   Role Played: Senior Interface Designer.
   Responsibilities:
	Designed and developed Functional Specifications for the management
interface
	Designed and developed Prototypes that are needed for XML – CSV file
conversion using JavaScript parser and Document Object Model.
	Attend customer meetings and improve the efficiency of the system
	Sysload and upgrade the CS1000 switch with the latest loads available
on the Nortel Live link.  
	Implementation of the interface using  HTML , JSP, CSS,  XML,AJAX, DOM
architecture
	Test Configuration management using Mercury Quality Centre
	Mentor Junior programmers in the team about the basics of the CS100
switch and its components.

 2. Project Title: Element Manager                                              
            (July 2006 – June 2007)

  Project Description:  
          Development of web based management interface that provides single
point of support      
  to configure, administer, and maintain configuration parameters for various
Nortel’s call  
  handling devices like Application switches (Communication Server 1000),
Routers, Media    
  Gateway Controller (MGC).It acts as the replacement of the traditional command
line  
  interface (CLI) and performs all the call processing functions.
            This product is one of the major releases by Nortel Networks finding
its application in    
      various Public switched telephone networks (PSTN).
                                
      Client: Nortel Networks Inc.
      Role: Team member. 
      Responsibilities:
	Developed the web interface using JavaScript, XML, CSS and HTML
	Executed Sanity testing and generate test reports for the whole
product
	Fixed the bugs found during the maintenance phase that increased the
overall productivity of the product.
	Provided patches for the backend as well as front-end code depending
upon customer requirement.
	Download and upgraded the server with the latest loads.
	Ensure Quality assurance is maintained throughout the project.
