Involved in the design, development and maintenance of many projects with
diversified technologies like .NET, C #, AJAX, XML, XSLT, ASP, VB, SQL, SSIS,
MSMQ, Broadvision and scripting languages. Most of the projects involve extensive
use of XML, XSLT and web services. Lead many projects as project lead.
As project lead and lead developer, took lead in the architecture and
development of projects CWEID, QIM conversion from VB6 to “.NET, C#, XML & XSLT”

Contributed extensively for most of the projects like direct connect to
insurance carriers to sell the policy online on web with no agent assistance
using web application developed in .NET, Web Services and user controls, multiple

Proposed couple of SQL performance projects and modified SQL to improve the

Involved in the development of a one-to-one retail
E-Commerce site (www.mercata.com). This site operates on the concept of
Power-Buying – Bringing customers together to get the advantage of group buying
and included all types of consumer products. Development was done using
BroadVision 4.1. It’s an interactive personalized online retail shopping site
built on BroadVision’s E-Commerce engine – One-to-One Commerce.
Developed and modified several page scripts in the Accounts, Buyers and Search
modules. Used several components like BVI_Visitor, BVI_VisitorManager,
BVI_Content, BVI_ContentList, BVI_ContentManager, BVI_CategoryList, BVI_Log,
BVI_MatchingAgent and BVI_GenericDBManager in the development of these page
scripts.

Software Engr. – AdvanSoft Inc., Falls Church, VA (Mar/99 –

Involved in the development of a web based software
system, NPDB/HIPDB (National Practitioner Data Bank/ Healthcare Integrity and
Protection Data Bank). This system contains certain sensitive information about
health care practitioners, providers and suppliers. The data is stored using
Oracle as the back-end. Reporting/Querying functionality is provided by Java
Servlets which act as MiddleWare. These Servlets, using JDBC, provide the needed
interface between the Client and the DBMS.
Developed a security module using Java, JavaScript & HTML that permits access
of application as well as data to only authorized users. A privilege-based access
mechanism has been implemented.
Designed and developed the module that migrates data stored in flat files from
the existing legacy system to the Oracle database, using Servlets & Beans. Also
involved in the creation of Forms and Reports using Dev/2000.

Involved in the development of an interactive banking site that enables
customers to open several types of accounts online. General account management
options are also provided once the users sign-on to the site. This system was
developed in Java, JavaScript & HTML using JDBC with Oracle for the back-end
database.
Designed and developed several front-end interactive forms for the site using
Java. Wrote Java applets to handle functionality like context-sensitive display
of information and data. Used several features of JDK extensively in the
development of these forms.
Wrote Java Servlets to handle the back ground processing on the server. Used
these Servlets along with JDBC and Oracle to process
(access/update/retrieve/push) information/data requests. Involved in unit and
integration testing of the above system.

Programmer/Analyst – Vetri Software Solutions Ltd., India (Jan/97 – Aug/98)
Involved in the analysis, design and development of Sales Order Processing
System (SOPS). This project is an Integrated System of Sales order processing,
Invoicing System and Accounts Receivable System. This package contains various
forms required for the three above modules and generates reports. The system was
developed in a Client/Server environment using Developer 2000 tools with ORACLE
7.1 as the back-end on Windows NT. Created database procedures using PL/SQL to
handle standard functionality such as validation and computations.

Involved in the design, data modeling, development and production support of a
custom Hospital Information Management System that incorporates facilities
management, pharmaceutical and medical equipment inventory, personnel and patient
medical history. Oracle was used as the back-end RDBMS and the front-end was

Designed and developed a knowledge-based software application that generates
process plans for the manufacture of Rocket (GSLV Structural) Components. This
application is menu driven and very user interactive. A pre-built set of
questions are posed to the user and the corresponding answers are taken as input
parameters based on which the appropriate process plans are generated. This
system was developed in C. On user’s request, formatted reports built using C,
are generated and printed by the system.
