Programmer/Analyst for the Fiscal Services department which includes Budget,
Financial Reports, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Human
Resources and Procurement. Sole technical resource for all of these departments.
Started with the Cyber Mainframe using Infofetch procedural language. Upgraded to
Cobol and Focus on the IBM Mainframe. Instituted Word/Excel/Access macros and
databases for all departments. Created multiple imports to the mainframe from
multiple sources. Created Visual Foxpro databases for applications which could
not be done on the mainframe. Implemented Peoplesoft Finance/HR/Student from
versions 7.4 to 8.0 to 8.4 and now 9.0. Wrote multiple applications in Peoplesoft
using SQR/Application Engine/Crystal/SQL/Query.

Started at Hughes as a Computer Operator, learning programming from the
engineers on the HP3000. I returned to college full time while working full time
to get my degree in Computer Science. Upon graduation, a year and a half later, I
was promoted to Programmer/Analyst. I wrote programs in HP3000 SPL (assembly) and
Fortran for the Division 14 engineers. The SPL programs were to control equipment
used by the engineers.
