As far as Oracle e-Commerce Gateway implementation is concerned, successfully

identifying all the custom processes to incorporate the business requirements,

schedules using Gentran 2.2 are done.

Worked as EDI/OE Functional for the Implementation of ERP system. Arthur
Andersen managed this project. All manufacturing modules and EDI Gateway are
implemented using Oracle Applications Release 11.3.0 In addition to EDI Orders,
direct orders from Interworld (Web based Orders) and F800 (Call Orders) are also
interfaced. OE, AR and EDI Set Ups are done. Custom tables are designed for all
these interfaces and also for WMS interface.

Worked for Paper-Pak Products for the implementation of ERP System and EDI
Gateway. E&Y managed this Project. Almost all financial and manufacturing
modules and EDI Gateway are implemented using Oracle Applications Release 11
EDI-850, EDI-810, EDI-856 are implemented using Oracle EDI Gateway. In addition
to these transactions, custom Pick Release, Ship Confirm and Stock adjustment
transactions are also implemented. EDI/Open (EDI Translator) is used for data
mapping and layout definitions. Set Ups are also done for EDI Gateway, OE and AR

Worked as Sr. Consultant for Western Digital, for the development of Worldwide
Financial and Manufacturing project using Oracle 10SC, the latest GUI Release
10.7 and Prod 16. The entire project was divided into four teams, Finance,
Technical, Supply and Demand Teams. I was working for the Demand Team, involved
in the Order Entry and Shipping customizations. My job included Studying the
user requirements, data mapping with Oracle Functionality, preparation of
Detailed design documents, developing the customizations using the 10SC form
templates, Testing, Migration to the Production environment etc., One of the
major customizations such as Auto-Create RMA Replacement orders from returns in
the batch mode, booking the orders and pick release of replacement orders and
Ship Confirmation across Operating units which is not the standard functionality
of Oracle was done by me. I was also involved in the customization of
Substitute items for replacement, defaulting salesperson on sales orders,
assignment of tax codes on sales orders and Order Import conversion.
Also worked for Robbins Company as Project Lead for the Implementation of Oracle
Financial and Manufacturing Modules using 10SC, 10.7, Prod 16 Prepared the
organization structure and set up documents for GL, AP, INV and OE modules.

Worked as Consultant for Sony Electronics Inc., for the development of Oracle
Manufacturing Modules Purchasing, INV and AP Interface modules were developed
using the Oracle Manufacturing Release 10SC - GUI release 10.6 and Prod 15. The
existing manufacturing application I90 presently running on IBM mainframe was
converted into Client-Server. The responsibilities related to both Functional
and Technical. My job was mainly preparation of Detailed Design documents for
Conversions, Identifying the customizations, Development as per Oracle Standards
and testing. The job includes Purchase Order conversion from I90 to Oracle
Purchasing Interface tables, creation of Requisitions with initial validations,
creation of approved Purchase Orders from requisitions, loading the vendor data,
creation of Auto Source Rules for Items/Vendors, Set up of Purchase and other
Manufacturing Modules etc., AP Interface customization was also done related to
quick Invoice Entry and Invoice matching functionality within Oracle and extract
procedure of approved invoices to Millennium Accounts Payable. Identified the
Customizations required for EDI Gateway for Inbound Advance Shipment Notice,
designed the custom tables required for customization and development of forms
was done using the 10SC form template. All the common packages for exception
handling were also done. Multi-Org functionality introduced in release 10SC was
used.

Oracle Manufacturing Application (OE, INV, BOM Modules and CASE Tools)
This system GBM, Backlog Management System, developed using Oracle Manufacturing
Modules OE, INV and BOM 105. Oracle Case Tools also used for developing
proto-type of the Module. The entire scheduling process is done in this module
and the application access data from OE, INV and BOM Modules. The main
functions of the system are Calendar setup and update, parameter set up used to
determine which sales orders from the backlog are eligible for GBM process,
define order of batch operations, Scheduler invocation, customization of inquiry
forms. Role included Interface, Identifying/Development Customizations in
Forms/Reports
