Position: Office Manager
Responsible for managing the day to day operations of a 17 person law firm,
which provides defense counsel for clients such as Office Depot, UCLA, and Kohl’s
Department Stores.
Tasks include accounts payable and receivable, processing monthly billing for
cases in both paper and LEDES electronic formats, negotiating new and existing
leases, equipment procurement, expense analysis, conducting annual performance
evaluations and counseling, coordinating monthly and quarterly reports to the
firm’s clients, monitoring the firm’s costs for waste, monitoring the attorneys’
calendars for appearance conflicts and scheduling, training new employees, and
processing payroll using ADP.
