PROJECTS
Configuration and implementation of RIP and OSPF (Cisco Lab) at San Jose State
University (2008)
Configured RIP on Cisco 3640 routers with different network connections
and interfaces
Used relevant IOS commands to monitor RIP routing updates between
routes and to control RIP update messages. Tested connectivity between RIP
routers and created virtual link to the backbone area
Configured OSPF area parameters over serial interfaces
Simulation (of TCP) using OPNET at San Jose State University
(2008)
Examined the throughput of a TCP connection as flow control window size
was varied and also examined TCP throughput using selective acknowledgement
option when run over a connection
Valuable experience working on Configuration, Comparing, Simulating and
analyzing various scenarios using OPNET.
Network analyzer (Wire shark /Ethereal -Mini Project)
(2007)
Worked in a group of 2 to analyze a TCP trace
Sequence numbers , ACK’S ,RTT calculation, Buffer space, Length
pertaining to various segment
were some of the concepts studied over the live network and a project
report was submitted
