Technical Staff.
Maintained, documented and optimized real-time flight simulation software in
FORTRAN

Link Flight Simulation (May 1977/Feb 1982) 
Programmer/System Analyst
Developed, documented and integrated real-time software to drive computer image
generation hardware.
Developed software components to simulate an aircraft, interface with flight
computers and generate several parts of the visual scene in assembly language.
Wrote interface specifications for the F-111 flight simulator
Integrated visual systems into the Space Shuttle, F-111 and B-52 flight
simulators.
Led a team developing real-time software for the visual system in the B-52
Flight Simulator.

Wrote software functional and interface specifications.  
Developed software requirements for the operator interface of an image analysis
work station.
Designed a software graphics package to interface graphic applications programs
with special purpose graphics hardware  Wrote a user's guide for this graphics

System Design Automation (Oct 1989/Jan 2000) 
Owner
Developed an automated requirements traceability system (RTS) to track customer
requirements from the system level specifications to the hardware/software
specifications.  Analyzed, designed, implemented and tested RTS.  Implemented RTS
in the Paradox Application Language using Paradox relational database.
Implemented and tested multi-user network capabilities at Jones Futurex.
Imported specifications into database to track requirements to the tests which
verified the requirements.  
Provided technical support to customers.

Prostar at IBM (Oct 1990/Oct 1992)
IBM contractor/Programmer/System Analyst
Designed, implemented and unit tested image management software.  Implemented
software in C.
Interfaced with an IBM mainframe running VM and SQL/DS as a data server.
Technical lead for a team of software developers.
 
Jones Futurex (Jan 1993/Dec 1994)
Senior Software Engineer
Developed software for a hardware cryptographic subsystem in Hitachi mainframe
computer.
Analyzed customer requirements and wrote a technical proposal which included
software and hardware specifications with traceability matrices linking all of
the customer requirements to the hardware and software specifications.
Resolved hardware/software requirement issues with hardware design engineers at
Hitachi in Japan.
Designed, implemented and unit tested software supporting the cryptographic
subsystem.
Implemented software in the C language to provide an operator interface to the
cryptographic subsystem.  Implemented an application programming interface with
an associate system programmer in the IBM mainframe/OS-390 assembly language.
Developed software in the Hitachi/IBM mainframe MVS/TSO/ISPF environment.

Setup jobs to automatically backup node install images to the control
workstation.
