support for all major aspects of the Payroll System involving production support
and heavy client interaction. Inherited and resolved a lingering date problem
with the Timekeeping subsystem which required extensive research into the entire
payroll system without much assistance. Transmitted direct deposit transactions
using EDI. Implemented a new GENESYS release 5.0 written in COBOL II including
all new online and batch enhancements as a one-man team, the same task was
accomplished by 4 people in the Non-Doctor’s Payroll System which used the same
package, but with fewer installed features. Developed the Record of Service
Online System using CICS/DB2 and COBOL II.
