exploit the inherent limitations for protecting a software implementation and how
third party software can introduce vulnerabilities into the system and assess

•	Port scan detector – Implemented in C, the detector scans ports to detect
security vulnerabilities analyzing TCP, UDP, ICMP, IGMP packets and to recognize
attacks such as TCP SYN, TCP connect, UDP scan and stealth FIN scan.
•	Knowledge discovery & data cup - Implemented data mining techniques like
neural networks, regression, and classification using WEKA while predicting the
missing radioactive degradation rates for a dataset of real time degradation rate
for various chemical elements.
