PROJECTS
--------
April 2008 - August 2009: Freelance development for AutoPartsWay.com
* Designed and Implemented three ColdFusion applications for AutoPartsWay.com
that allow users to search for auto
parts based on vehicles models, years, parts, categories, and brands.
* The first project is a distributed application in which a ColdFusion UI
(hosted at AutoPartsWay.com) directs a remote
JSP based application to interact with a third party (Worldpac, Inc.) vendor's
fulfillment solution through a specially
designed API (http://www.autopartsway.com/autoparts2).
* The second project is a standard ColdFusion/MS SQL Server based application
that allows users to search for auto parts
available in AutoPartsWay's local database.
* The third project is a ColdFusion/MS SQL Server based application that uses
the eBay Trading API to list products on
eBay and generates reports based on listing errors and sold products.
* Technologies: ColdFusion 8.0, JavaScript, Ajax, XML, CSS, DOM, DHTML, EXT-JS,
JSP, JAVA, Tomcat, MS SQL Server 2005.
Nov 2006 - Feb 2007: The Hooligans Band Website
* Designed and developed the website for a local rock band. The website features
an ASP/AJAX/MS Access driven mailing

capabilities, user specific views, automatic
content authoring and easy website maintenance.
* Facilitated client workshops and presentations for requirement elicitation and
system prototyping. Developed the
Feasibility Rational Description for the product, performed project
scheduling, cost and risk analysis.
Jan 2004 - May 2004: Research project, Applications of Information integration
in Bioinformatics
* Implemented a Bioinformatics application that extracts and integrates
documented Protein-Protein interaction data
from online data sources to construct indirect interaction pathways for user
specified Proteins while returning a list of
supporting publications. The project involved use of the Fetch Agent Platform
for information extraction, the Theseus
plan language for querying the resulting semi-structured XML files, and
finally, JAVA Servlets, SQL and MS Access to
