greatly simplified our CSR team's ability to manufacture, track, ship and bill
3000 image corrections per month * produced higher billings and provided a

color etching for the Achenbach Museum of San Francisco in partnership with David

Performed typical customer service duties for multiple buyers to enable the next
shift's production. Worked with supervisor to create new technical writing
formats combined with quick diagrammatic illustrations to ensure all
manufacturing teams were successfully producing daily proofs on the most
critical, complicated, and time sensitive projects for Apple's stores worldwide.

I wore many hats at Applied Graphics Technologies, worked in various technical
departments as needed. Along the way, solved problems with software apps to add
profit, reduce complexity, save time, lower mistake frequency and assure that
deliverables were correct to customer and printer specifications.
* Reverse engineered a custom in-house application which formatted and proofed
4000 publication pages per month. Added automation features and enhanced quality
assurance for shipping files and proofs.
* Franklin Templeton Investments account: Created a WIP tracking and shipping
solution for Applied Graphic's on site team. 
* Managed database of printer specifications, composing and verifying all data
and making any structural changes as necessary.
* Osborne / McGraw-Hill account: Wrote application to build die lines for
casebound covers eliminating proof spoilage and reducing build time 100 fold.
* Oracle account: created script to Quality Control shipping postscript files
and format a report to catch build errors unseen on proofs eliminating errors at
printer RIP.

packaging. Managed exposure equipment to hold film dot gain to 1% cumulative
through 5 film generations. Scored 100% on Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test for
color discrimination * tested 1991 & 1993.

SAINT HIERONYMUS PRESS - Journeyman Pressman, Journeyman Film Striper,
Machinery engineer.
* Exacting complex color work, typesetting, photography, separations.
* Designed and rebuilt the feeder mechanism of a Solna press for continuous
