Summary

I have many years experience in quality assurance software testing using black
box, white box and automation of both front end and backend testing. I am looking
for a position that will allow me to use my skills and experience to their
fullest in assuring quality end products with on time deliveries.

Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities included working with management staff to create and implement
an SDLC for all group projects.   SDLC was implemented using the Borland StarTeam
Document tracking system and integrating Mercury Quality Center/Test Director.

Testing focused on creating test plans, automation scripts using SQL for backend
testing, Quick Test Pro, Test Design Studio, and VB.NET.

Products tested included Inventory system control, B2B websites, Contract
Preparation Systems and Integrated usage systems to log televised programming.

My role required heavy interaction with the Product Managers and development
staff to ensure SDLC workflow was followed and implemented successfully.

Other duties included input into design of systems and creating business rules
documents.

Product Technologies Artificial Intelligent Group
Manager Off-Shore QA Team	
		
Responsibilities included release planning and tracking, testing assignments,
test plan reviews, and training.  In order to accomplish this task, it required
the development of policies and procedures that did not exist before.  This
included developing a working relationship with the development team located in a
different city as well as our clients.

Processes included developing a QA workflow based on a bi-weekly release, bug
tracking system, and metrics to track success.

Researching appropriate methods, processes, and procedures to eventually
implement testing automation of our Business Rules Engine.  All testing is
currently done manually with the assistance of some automation tools developed
in-house.

I was the CERT Team Commander for the Agoura facilities.  This entails holding
monthly meetings to ensure all members are always ready to assist our co-workers
in case of a disaster such as an earthquake or major fire. Working closely with
the safety department as well as the security department to ensure all plans are
constantly kept up to date with all new information as it applies to our
company,


Senior QA Analyst 						5/2004 – 01/2005

My responsibilities at this time were to create a critical diagnosis and release
transition position.  This position requires the person responsible to quickly
test and evaluate any issues reported by clients and production people. Once
evaluated it was then required on the best resolution. This may have included
further business analysis or being entered into the bug tracking system for
developers to fix.  

Also, part of this position required the individual to assume responsibility for
final release testing for the current cycle.  This entailed review of any fixed
bugs found during regular functional testing and any issues reported by our beta
group.  Once all critical items had been resolved, final OK for release was given
by this position to the VP of QA.  

This position allows our main QA team to move on to the next release.

Responsible for coordinating testing and development of special projects and
developing automation scripts for regression testing.

Special projects included Document Imaging, and Disaster Recovery.

Development Team Leader

Project planning, time management and coding of several key features of
financial portions of Health Care Systems.  Review specifications and designs of
each module with the product manager, designer and team developers. Coded modules
using VB 5/6, VBScript, stored procedures in SQL Server and Unified Defined
Functions.  Developed COM objects for the business layer. This was an environment
utilizing MS Transaction server.  Designed a unit test plan process that required
being passed thus ensuring QA was able to focus on finding Level I bugs that was
adopted by the development department.  This improved quality of code delivered
to QA ensured a lower rework percentage.

Senior QA Analyst						5/1998 – 4/1999

Designed target system tests and automation suites. Designed and implemented Y2K
compliance testing for legacy Add-On+ product. Designed and implemented an
automation library using Visual Test 6.0.  Worked with integration team to
design, setup, and train users on bug tracking system.  Wrote testing policies
and procedures as well standardized unit test cases.


Cybermedia Inc, Santa Monica, CA			02/1995 – 5/1998

Created product test schedules in coordination with development and product
management. Bug triage, tracking and prioritizing.  Employee training,
counseling, and annual performance reviews.  Conducted interviews for new QA
positions.
