Systems administration duties including builds, configuration and maintenance of
IBM Blade Centers, Dell and HP servers.  One Stop Shop (OSS) requests are
fulfilled for users requesting changes or additions to accounts, servers, and
network configurations.  Remote server patching and updates were installed and
maintained using WSUS and MS Updates.   Created test plans for security patches,
testing and technical documentation/procedures. Remedy CMDB 7.0 was used for
change management, asset tracking and ticketing system.  Verified Install Shield
and Admin Studio were installed prior to installing patches and updates.  Some
remote/telecommute LAN, WAN and System Administration performed.  Citrix farm was
supported and maintained.  Citrix client was used to remotely access Outlook and
Active Directory/LDAP to create and maintain user accounts as well as grant
permissions to network drives and software applications.  Novell Netware servers
were supported as well as network and user permissions maintained. Tivoli Storage
Manager (TSM), Tivoli Enterprise Console (TEC) and Tivoli Configuration Manager
(TCM) was also maintained to ensure proper backups are captured and to configure
the services that Tivoli needed started for backups to run.  Symantec Enterprise
edition was also used as another method for backups and restores. VM Ware servers
were built and Virtual Center was configured to manage and maintain hundreds of
virtual servers located in multiple domains. Some operating system deployments,
backups and upgrades using RAID configurations from IBM Blade and HP DL 360
(Intel) servers to VM Ware ESX server were completed.  Storage Area Network (SAN)
issues were also troubleshot and supported.

Daily tasks included systems administration duties for Compassion International.
 Duties required that I support the development team by administering Windows
2003 Servers, SQL 2000/2005 servers, Windows XP workstation, Virtual PC, as well
as SharePoint Portal Server 2003, ASP.Net, BizTalk and Ultimus.  Active Directory
is used to maintain user accounts and grant access to network drives. IIS was
configured and maintained as a web server on development and production boxes. 
SQL server 2000 and 2005 were installed, configured and maintained.  Also
supported database administrators and developers in transferring files and
maintaining the systems on which the databases were stored. Troubleshooting and
maintenance of systems were completed to ensure developers had sufficient
resources to test and deploy software by projected deadlines.  Server builds,
software installs, backups, configuration planning and technical documentation
was also apart of my duties.  Health monitoring of systems was done to ensure no
performance issues were present.   Network configuration and troubleshooting was
done to ensure systems had connectivity and were available to users. Hardware and
software configuration changes were also completed to allow developers access to
various test environments.  SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) were set and
followed to ensure systems were performing and maintained to vendor/client
requirements.  Symantec Ghost and Enterprise Edition were used for system backups
and restores.

Systems Administration functions were performed on a daily basis to ensure all
servers and workstations have current antivirus updates and Microsoft
updates/patches to insure satellite operators have operational systems. Remote
server patching and updates are installed and tested.  Install, configure,
monitor and support Windows NT, 2000, and XP workstations as well as Windows 2000
& 2003 servers.  SQL server was installed, configured and maintained as a
database platform. Periodic system maintenance, software and hardware upgrades
were performed. Analyze new hardware to determine its need or application in the
existing or proposed system. Servers and workstations were monitored daily and
problem analysis and support for military systems were provided. Designs,
develops, installs, implements, conducts research for, and maintains internal
data processing computer systems and utilities. Update existing test
documentation when necessary.  Active Directory was used to administer to
configure user/group accounts and privileges.   DNS server was administered to
ensure clients maintain connectivity with the domain.   Tape backups and Symantec
Ghost Client and Symantec Enterprise Edition backup software was used as disaster
recovery and data storage tools.  Technical documentation was completed to ensure
procedures were correctly documented for future use.

thousand servers around the world. My position was to research and plan for the
implementation of Microsoft Server Management System 2003 (SMS).  Worked with and
assisted server group that installed, backed up and upgraded Windows 2000/2003 on
VM Ware ESX servers.

Engineering support and Quality Assurance testing was completed to ensure
government agencies and customers using InfoWorkSpace (IWS) did not encounter
software issues.  Any reported issues were tested for replication and then
resolved by the engineers/developers.  IIS/internet issues were troubleshot for
the online version of the software.  IIS was configured and maintained to work
with the company’s software as a web server.  Also assisted and supported the
development/engineering departments in documenting system defects, and
troubleshooting/testing software to locate errors or malfunctions. Developed and
updated software documentation to include system and software requirements.  Test
procedures were then created and documented with correct changes. System upgrades
and the installation of patches were completed to ensure systems are up to date
with the latest tested software. Technical troubleshooting of hardware/software
and program language related problems with customers loading and supporting this
and other products were performed on a daily basis. Have also consulted for the
US Army while onsite installing and configuring IWS. Problem analysis and support
for military systems was provided. Regular system administration functions were
also performed on a daily basis such as installing, configuring, monitoring and
supporting Windows NT, 2K, XP, 2003, Solaris 2.7, 8, and 9. Oracle 8i & 9i, IIS,
Tomcat, and iPlanet Web/Directory servers were also administered.  Sun Opteron
Servers (AMD) as will as HP (INTEL) servers were supported.  Technical
documentation for open tickets was recorded in the Remedy database system.

Systems Administration was provided for more than 650 employees and three
hundred servers within Federal Express. Created new mail accounts on through MS
Outlook for the MS Exchange servers.  Troubleshooting and problem solving
techniques were used to support and maintain hardware, software and network
issues. Installation of OS/network upgrades such as NT, Win2k, and Novell 5x to
allow network compatibility. OS builds and upgrades were provided to assure
quality performance. Remote server/desktop patching and updates are installed and
tested.  Installing modems, NICs, memory, and hard drives were completed when
needed. Configured modems and VPN’s to provide remote access. Laying UTP, STP,
and fiber Optic cable was done to provide connectivity to various Cisco hubs,
switches, and routers. TCP/IP, IPX, and Tree’s were protocols that we configured
for network and client/server architecture. DHCP, DNS, configuration for pc’s and
servers. HP networked printers are configured and serviced for users. Backed up
and re-mapped files on various local servers and Novel networks. Self study was
done with Visual basic scripting. Documentation procedures were created and
updated for users and other administrators.

Duties required that I manage the hardware floor plan and maintenance schedule
of the IBM 3090 Main Frame computer systems. Assisted hardware and software
personnel in troubleshooting/resolving customer related issues for more than

Data Center hardware services group using MS Access and the SQL programming
language.  Technical documentation was developed, updated and maintained for
