Working for this IT outsourcing company, my responsibilities consist of
maintaining the LAN/WAN infrastructure and providing support to end users
regarding day-to-day network\server operations. I also provide rapid deployment
of fixes to network devices in response to newly identified security threats in a
24x7 environment for multiple clients. Worked with clients such as Corporate
Express and Softek Storage Solutions technical leads to developed and ensure the
SLAs were met in a timely fashion. Ensured data/media recoverability by
implementing a schedule of system backups, and database archive operations. Also
while acting as a liaison between the customer, suppliers, and other technical
groups to resolve network and hardware problems, I recommended, implemented, and
managed existing\new-networking solutions, including server and application
upgrades. Other duties included troubleshooting and maintaining IIS, DHCP, FTP,
DNS, Storage Services, Patching, Clustered Services, Exchange and Active
Directory services\account management.

and reliable operations for the client in a 24x7 workshop. Responsible for
quality output/value add for highly visible products, services and future
business development, while regularly participating in overall functional program
planning. Deployed\modified existing installations of computer including the IBM
x45 Series, Blade Centers, Vmware Virtual Servers, and Compaq Servers using
Microsoft Windows 2000 (including Advanced Server) and 2003 Server. Performed
day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and support of Active Directory network
resources, and user profiles. Configured and managed multiple HP PSA devices
using Hewlett Packer print tools. Handle RAID expansions\errors; replace disks
(if necessary), setup notifications on disk failures using Compaq Insight and IBM
director. Maintained documentation regarding network configuration, operating
procedures, and service records relating to network hardware and software using

Managed local are network for offices in New Mexico, Arizona, California, and
Colorado by utilizing remote tools as well on-site service. Assisted in planning
and successfully deploying multiple network migrations. During these migrations
we moved from a Novell 5.5 platform, to a Windows 2000 Server and Professional
shop. Assignments personally accomplished during this project were re-cabling of
network closet and plenum areas, planning and supervising workstations rollouts
including up to 300 workstations using Norton Ghost. Configured server security
and permissions on network resources, while creating users accounts with Active
Directory. Assisted in developing training materials and classes for domain
clients once the network was up and running. After migrations were completed, I
worked on decommissioning all excess servers, workstations, routers and switches
for re-deployment in future office conversions. Other projects completed included
installing and managing application servers with various network license shared
products such as Arcinfo, Logplot, Gint, and Active Project. Responsible for
maintaining assigned offices’ backups and disaster recovery plans. Performed
daily repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting for client’s hardware and software
systems using Track-it Helpdesk Software. Finally managed Nortel PBX systems
including wire traces, station moves and key punch downs.

working closely with subcontractors to ensure quality of service and meeting
prospective deadlines. Testing of competing manufacturer’s hardware (i.e.
Laptops, Desktop, and Printers) to fit clients desired needs. Installation and
configuration of desktops systems and other network peripherals including
printers and scanning solutions. Daily administration of clients network accounts
and resources using Windows 2000 Administrative Tools. Provided 30 % helpdesk and
70% on-site coverage to clients on rotating schedule. Created and implemented
training program for clients, which covered daily operations of Citrix and Email
applications.

supporting some 150 users. Integrated and supporting a hybrid network environment
including Windows 95/98/NT4/2000, MS DOS while supporting legacy software
programs. Provided End User Support and troubleshooting for deployed applications
and operating systems such as Office 97. I was also responsible for the
implementation of virus prevention measures, which involved building\configuring
network server to push down updates to workstations. Developed network design and
general procedure directives. Supervised and trained end user in workstation
operation as well as network utilization. Phone system administration\
maintenance on PBX switch.

Obtained an entry level position as a Helpdesk Analyst; providing technical
support over the phones for such companies as Sony, IBM, Direct TV and Disney
Interactive Software. 
After two years, received a promotion to Team Leader where I performed such
duties as training new staff members on troubleshooting and customer service
techniques.  Monitoring client sessions and providing Tier III support for
escalated calls were some of the assignments I completed while supervising 10-15
team member shift. Weekly administrative task included documenting and resolving
new issues, payroll reports, and scheduling hours for the upcoming weeks.
