Couple (forty two and fifty one) with teen son (sixteen, ranch raised), own and
operate Lost Trail Ranch guest ranch and outfitting business. We are in the
process of selling our ranch and business, but would prefer working for another
wonderful ranch before settling back in again. Our current ranch is remote, off
grid and as sustainable as possible in the high mountains, yet still comfortable
and remarkably beautiful. Between the three of us, the list of our skills
includes people work, computer work, horse breeding, raising, training for trail,
guiding, animal husbandry, gardening, landscaping, construction, carpentry,
welding, large equipment operation, and more. We have owned our current ranch
for twenty seven years, and as mentioned, are in the process of selling, but
before we purchase elsewhere, we would like the opportunity to work for someone
else for a few years, to try something new, to see something different, to learn,
and to share. We have dog, cats, horses, even a few cows... we're quite an odd
package, but provide incredible work and experience for the right situation!
We're open minded, enthusiastic, and work-a-holics. Non smokers, we spend our
free time in nature, writing, riding, snowmobiling, hiking, horse packing. For
more information about us and what we've done, please see our ranch web site at
