Controlled and monitored over 6000 satellite decoders providing Armed Forces
Network (AFN) entertainment programming to over 140,000 troops stationed in
warzones.

Led install teams in setting up eleven cable TV headends in Iraq and
Afghanistan.

Developed interactive quiz game in Authorware to be used by instructors in
Distance Learning satellite courses. Enabled instructors to concentrate on
questions to be asked, and made classes more interesting.

Instructed alarm systems course for high priority Air Force assets. The only
instructor assigned qualified to teach 100% of the classes in the course.

Developed frontend quiz programs in Flash for students to use in studying along
with a question building program that allowed students to write their own
questions

Updated Weather course in Authorware to new format and included new data from
changes in the course.

Led team redesigning the website for Keesler AFB, MS. Site more user-friendly
and faster to navigate.

Monitored readiness status of mobile communications units from the Air National
Guard, Air Reserve and Active Duty Air Force. Created spreadsheets and PowerPoint
slides from data for presentation to upper management.

Provided training to military, civil service and foreign national students on
the operation and maintenance of base and installation security systems (BISS).

Provided counseling and recommended actions to correct marginal or substandard

Received AF Achievement Medal for leading 20 person team working 3500 man hours
developing the 81st Training Wing  's Computer-based Orientation for Students
Awaiting Training. Three weeks from inception to operation. Installed on 120

general education to all students in all Keesler AFB schools.

equipment and programming over radio and television. 

Coordinated with AFRTS to provide AFN channels to more than 400,000 warfighters
and families stationed throughout Europe and the USCENTCOM AOR.

Coordinated equipment installations and maintained tracking databases to account
for over 8,000 Satellite TV, radio and cable TV systems worth $2.3M deployed in
the CENTCOM AOR.

Advised AFNEWS/AFRTS leadership on issues impacting mission and equipment
performance for 90 manned and unmanned transmitter sites.

Managed logistics for deploying personnel and equipment in support of
contingency operations.

Led project to field $3.2M in AFRTS equipment to hundreds of forward operating
bases in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Installed seven new cable systems, provided AFN to 10K new users in CENTCOM AOR

Found four bootleg cable systems in CENTCOM AOR, educated leaders on DoD
broadcast requirements, brought offenders into compliance, 500+ deployed
personnel.

Maintained database for tracking AFRTS equipment deployed in AEF &OIF,
successfully managed over 8.3k enditems. System adopted as standard for AFNEWS
&AFRTS.

Installed equipment to allow deployed commanders to establish a Commander  's
Access Channel on base cable systems.

Developed a Just-in-Time training program for AFNEWS technicians deploying to
Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Reduced need for in theater
theater training.

Setup alternate downlink for Bagram when primary link for President Bush  's
speech went down. Allowed two way communication when POTUS took questions from
troops.

Managed the Status of Resources and Training (SORTS) and Defense Readiness
Reporting System (DRRS) Programs for 79 active duty, Air National Guard and Air
Force Reserve communications units.

Compiled above data for presentation to the Commander of the Air Mobility
Command.

Assisted in management of AMC  's Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM)
program for 12 Air Force bases.

Liaison between MILSATCOM field units and HQ staff directorates.

Managed AMC  's Single Channel Anti-jam Man Portable (SCAMP), Global Broadcast
System (GBS) and the Ground Element Minimum Essential Emergency Communications
Network System (GEMS).

Instrumental in testing of the DRRS system during functional testing.

Designed modifications for incorrectly designed GBS monitor cases. Implemented
changes command wide. Saved over $30K in modifications from manufacturer.

Authored Shemya Air Force Base  's first environmental compliance pamphlet.

Troubleshot the Shemya AFB character generator and updated the software.
