Kenan Billing Implementation – Functional Lead and Deployment Project Manager

1996 Telecommunications Act (Section 271) Testing Effort – Project Manager 
 Led a 1996 Telecommunications (Section 271) provisioning and billing testing
efforts
 Researched FCC and ILEC tariffs and determined their applicability to ILEC
billing, and constructed expected results including Usage,
Recurring/Nonrecurring, and One-time charges for scenarios included in the test
bed to compare them to actual results.
 Led teams that designed and executed rigorous billing and provisioning tests
for compliance with the 1996 Act 
 Provided support and guidance to test leads, test managers and testers in
matters relating to the project. Presented results of testing to ILECs and
states’ public utilities commissions and the FCC
 
Back Office Process Improvement – Project Manager 
 Led back-office process assessment for a major telecom company including
process modeling, gap analysis and risk assessment, process reengineering and
future vision. The exercise concluded with a presentation to the VP of Finance
recommending the approach which was adopted.

 Initiated and piloted a training program geared towards the development of

workflow application to drive ordering and provisioning for a major telecom
