Lead Developer
A full service design and development company. Whether initiating a new online
presence or re-engineering an existing one, Innabit guides clients through the
sometimes complex decisions of choosing a domain name, hosting, creating a site
to fit their need, advertising and promotion with the ultimate goal of driving
new business.
Key Achievements:
• Complete redesign (from both a hardware and software standpoint) of the
corporate intranet for Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, a law firm in
West Palm Beach, Florida. The new intranet featured a searchable database of
business procedures and documentation, personnel directory, calendaring and
integration with their existing email and IM services. The site can be fully
maintained by client staff via the provided administrative console.
• Development of a new social networking site for graduates of the MBA program
at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. This password-protected site featured an
events calendar, message boards, professor bios, class schedules, academic forms
and other program-related media. The site can be fully maintained by client staff
via the provided administrative console.
Florida Power & Light, Juno Beach, Florida
2001 - 2008
Systems Architect 2006 - 2008
Promoted to a senior developer position. Interfaced with customers to gather
requirements, evaluate business needs, and design applications around the
reference processes. Supervised development of the subsequent specification by
staff developers. Created development plans and project documentation.
Key Achievements:
• Instrumental in designing an application set to support the new repetitive
work optimization process called Condition Management.
• Observed personnel in FPL's FPDC monitoring facility and designed a new
cohesive application that greatly increased the efficiency of their work, reduced
the amount of time it took to report deviations in the system as well as
eliminated auditing discrepancies Power Generation was experiencing in their EFOR
(outage) reporting.
Application Developer 2002 - 2006
Promoted to application developer position. Coordinated with client application
group in developing web-based functionality for Power Generation's Work
Management software. Routinely developed applications to support a myriad of
business processes including Event Response, Change Management, Condition
Prediction, System Request and Environmental Compliance.
Key Achievements:
• Developed project management software for the technical services teams in Juno
Beach that allowed them to track the work they were doing for the power plants.
• Successfully transitioned FPL Power Generation's in-house Work Management
software from a client application built in PowerBuilder to a modern web-based
system.
Systems Analyst 2001 - 2002
Managed much of Power Generation's procedural documentation and designed and
maintained intranet sites to deliver this material to field personnel. Designed
small applications to assist plant personnel in performing and recording their
shift work.
Key Achievements:
• Designed and developed a suite of tools that assisted power plant personnel in
recording their shift activities as well as facilitating easier tracking of
pending work, system events, and temporary operating instructions.
• Managed the transition of internal Power Generation policy and procedure
documentation to revised templates approved by Corporate Communications.

1998 - 2001
Senior Webmaster
Recruited to expand RCI's online presence and modernize their existing sites.
Coordinated with multiple departments (including sales, marketing, print
publications and creative) and external hosting company to develop a cohesive
online brand. As demand grew, the department expanded and I was placed in a
supervisory role over the new designers.
Key Achievements:
• Conceptualization, development and maintenance of RCI's various online
projects such as BestJobsUSA.com, Employment Review Magazine, and Employment
Solutions.
• Design and deployment of the Recourse Communications corporate intranet.
• Implementation and ongoing administration of DoubleClick advertisement
services.
