WORK HISTORY:

Fraud Analyst and Loss Prevention Training Specialist for eToys and other
subsidiaries of The Parent Company, including KBtoys, MyTwinn, BabyUniverse and
DreamtimeBaby.  
•	Designed and implemented a scalable Fraud Detection and Monitoring system
resulting in a credit card fraud rate of .04% of total sales - well under
industry average of 1% - 2%.
•	Processed up to 600 orders daily during peak season and high-volume Wii
releases; 300 off peak.
•	Created training documents and trained approximately 42 temporary seasonal
analysts.
•	Continually researched latest fraud scenarios, recognizing the new patterns
and methods that criminals are attempting and adjusted our tactics accordingly.
•	Monitored which items required purchase limits, which items should be excluded
from employee discounts; monitored the website for incorrectly priced items;
insured online promotions, discounts and coupons were working properly.
Identified abusive customers and supported customer service in issuing blocks
(“No Soup” Research and Reporting).
•	Developed new system of tracking disputes and chargebacks with PayPal when
eToys began accepting PayPal.  Conducted chargeback analyses for Discover, AmEx
and Visa/MC. Acted as liaison for bankcard operations, PayPal and Bill Me Later.
•	Law Enforcement Liaison - Coordinated with various law enforcement agencies to
report fraudulent activity and gather evidence for prosecution.
•	Generated detailed weekly/monthly reports; analyzed collections for failed
authorization billing.
•	Reviewed questions from Customer Service on authorization and other customer
order issues.

Conoco Breakplace, Broomfield, Lafayette, Littleton, CO    March 1995 to July
2000
Manager with over five years of in-depth, hands-on, experience in the fuel
industry overseeing corporate store direction with responsibility for all
functions and facets of day-to-day operations.
•	Supervised all employees, including hiring/training/career
planning/termination. Coordinated biweekly/quarterly/yearly store audits.
•	Formulated strategies to guarantee competitiveness with all corporate rivals.
•	Served as interim manager for numerous store openings.
•	Achieved highest customer satisfaction score in district (97%); won District
Manager’s Award.
•	First person in the history of Conoco to be promoted directly from Assistant
Manager to Manager of a Breakplace flagship store.  Achieved this honor after
only eight months.  
•	Earned total of four levels of managerial promotions in five years.
