Objective
Astrodynamicist/Software Architect seeks position utilizing my skills with
engineering, software, and leadership that I have acquired through 13 years of
professional experience and two Masters level degrees.
Profile
* Motivated, innovative engineer with a track record of finding multiple, unique
solutions to complex issues. Able to quickly master any computer language,
rising from novice to expert in a very short time. Focus, self-direction and
self-motivation has led to the independent, multi-year development of two
flagship products used for spacecraft analysis, one in C and one in Java.
* Flexible and versatile. Practiced my skills in several different groups
providing expertise and guidance along the way. Willing to support operations
and achieve deadlines with non-standard hours effort as necessary.
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI, SSBI

support code for a suite of software tools necessary for vehicle analysis and
trending.
* Instituted multiple conventions and standards, providing a framework that all
workgroup members could implement.
* Mentored a new employee to the company, her work group and the intricacies of
operating a real-time simulator.
* Demonstrated trajectory analysis software to internal and external customers.
Professional Experience
LOCKHEED MARTIN ASTRONAUTICS
Defense Systems, Denver, CO 1996 Present
Embedded Software Engineer Staff 2003 Present
* Designed, developed, and tested a multisegment, 6 DOF, trajectory analysis
tool with the capability to locate constrained solutions over an arbitrary time
period (110 kSLOC). The workgroup received a Team Excellence Award for this
effort.
* Attitude Control Systems support verifying episodes and supporting vehicle
calibration.
Senior Embedded Software Engineer 1997 2003
* Developed a 3D visual representation of a space vehicle and a general use data
interface to a real-time simulator, providing coherent data to a variety of
support and analysis software, resulting in a commendation.
* Improved real-time simulator fidelity using innovative methods to emulate a
new software model of developing hardware.
* Developed customer utilized version of spacecraft attitude, environmental and
orbital analysis software (6 DOF).
* Created automated conversion software to update real-time simulator software
from FORTRAN to C providing an alternative to manual conversion as well as a
verification method for manually converted software.
Operations Engineer 1996 1997
* Analyzed real-time simulator telemetry of spacecraft to determine validity of
input data and simulated hardware systems.
* Applied knowledge of spacecraft attitude, body dynamics, and orbital mechanics
to develop a batch processor of real-time simulator test data used during
operator proficiency exercises.
* Real-time simulator operations including vehicle model configuration and
hardware maintenance.
