CHI is the 2nd largest non-profit healthcare organization in the U.S. Beginning
in 2009, it switched from a holding company to an operating company model and
based on advice from Deloitte, began to build out the framework for a centralized
ITS vendor management department. I was hired as a consultant on a contract basis
to create the framework for the Vendor Management Organization and assist the
Director of VM with high profile negotiations.
* Designed, documented and implemented Vendor Relations and Contract Management
procedures for ITS
* Managed a staff of 6 contractors tasked with contract review and analysis;
created performance metrics for all to validate CHI's staffing needs for future
state build out.
* Personally responsible for over $15M in software, hardware, professional
