2009 to Present; Rafter B Trucking and Logistics; Operations Manager
Provide freight brokerage and carrier services for all freight types in the
lower 48 states.  Set up all business systems using Word, Excel and Quickbooks
software.  Utilize Transcore and Internet Truck Stop and ITS Dispatch systems to
manage loads.   Hire and supervise Drivers, Agents and office staff.

Own and operate bulk candy vending business.

Provide Business to Business telemarketing services.   Cold calling to targeted

Coordinated team of volunteers to plan and implement this community event. 
Responsibilities included item acquisitions, publicity, purchase and use of
Auction software tools.  This event was attended by 300+ guests and raised up to
$40,000.
2004-2006; School Organization Volunteer
Was the PTL Treasurer for 2 years, President for the final year.    Implemented
a school wide hot lunch program, coordinated school fundraisers and special
events.  During my affiliation with the PTL, we were able to purchase new
playground equipment, new lunchroom tables and chairs and sponsored many in
school programs.
2004-2006; Label PX-Bookkeeper
Using Quickbooks, provided bookkeeping services for this family owned and
operated business.
1995-1997  Ampersand Direct; 
Started a small telemarketing service company which provided telemarketing and
literature distribution services to businesses in the Chicago area.  Utilized a
labor force made up entirely of stay at home moms.
1992-1995; Western Publishing-Manage of Literature Distribution Services
Managed business unit providing inbound and outbound telemarketing, customer
service, order processing, warehousing and distribution services to clients. 
Also responsible for the AS400 computer system, staff of 4 programmers, and the
Rockwell International phone system.   Additional duties included sales support
and selling of services to house accounts.
1989-1992; Quill Corporation-Manager of Canadian Operations
Was a member of the management team which developed a Canadian business unit to
sell and distribute office products via direct mail.  Once established, Managed
the customer service, order processing, credit/collections, payables and
receivables for the business.  Was also responsible for the software and AS400
computer dedicated to the operation.
