Daily administration of a GroupWise 5.5 System consisting of 12 post offices, 2
MTAs, and 1 GWIA over a six site WAN, 1500 node Novell NetWare 5.1 WAN, 50 node
NT LAN, 10 node 2000 LAN.  Compaq Proliant hardware was widely used. The current
Service Level Agreement is 99% uptime. Accomplishments included a full systems
analysis of chronic failures within the agency’s GroupWise System.  We were able
to determine the causative factors and completely stabilize the email system.  
Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000 training at IKON Systems.
Accomplishments included the design, installation, and configuration of a
Windows 2000 network and an Exchange 2000 Organization.  Next, I performed the
complete Discovery/Testing Phase of the project and provided the Discovery Phase
Reports and Executive Level Overview of the new Compaq SAN with a Windows 2000
Clustered environment.  This project included the full migration of GroupWise to
Exchange 2000 deploying a GroupWise Connector to provide communications between
the two systems during the co-existence period.  Produced all the Single Points
of Failure documentation for the GroupWise, Network Infrastructure, NetWare, NT,
Anti-Virus, Backup/Restore, and Firewall products.  Access 2000 Database Creation
for Special
Projects such as Time Cards and Management Databases.
