PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Subject:Applications Developer October, 2007 - Present
CRT-Community Renewal Team

In the dual roles as a data analyst and an application/report developer, I am
the most experience technical and analytical in-house IT resource for supporting
a variety of in-house and vendor Software systems. My primary responsibility is
to develop and document existing or proposed online systems based on in house
client requirements communicated from the directors of these systems. Systems
covered are the Universal Intake system called Captain for registering new
clients in which I developed a series of state mandated DSS-CT Department of
Social Services reports in Crystal Report XI including a new SQL Server 2005
Database, tables, procedures and DTS transfer jobs.
The other major systems that I support are a Behavioral Health system named
Sigmund, an in-house Facilities system (MS Access based) and an outside vendor
Finance system named American Fundware. In addition, I developed an online system
based in VB.Net for storing and reporting Agency and Services for CRT. This
information was used for CRT publications to be published on the intranet website
that I helped to write using the Joomla web generating software. I am currently
rewriting a new Nutrition system for the Meals on Wheel program. This VB.Net
application has been entirely written by myself as all mentioned or not
mentioned. This new Scheduling and Food ordering System consists of 10
menu-driven screens utilizing the latest window components like grid and lists
plus database binding source programming techniques. This new VB.net system’s
purpose is allow daily online meal lists while producing Driver routes, schedules
and a list of the total food preparation (breakfast, snacks and lunch)
ingredients for 39+ communities.

Connecticut Department of Revenue Services, my primary responsibility

specs as needed to exchange electronic data compatible to both our and
the recipients data systems.

Cobol programs with Unix Korn-shell scripts. These programs primarily
focused in corporate and sales tax returns. Authored and updated program
specification, file layouts, and test documentation using Microsoft
Excel and Powerpoint for publication on the Accenture website portal.
Analyzing and system testing the background procedures and
functions involved in processing. In general, this would involve
entering the data into a form and testing the data flow as it passes
through to the batch programs. I have tested numerous scripts with
hundreds of test conditions. A typical script will require the
insertion (utilizing Access) and filtration of tax demographic
conversion data from the existing revenue system database system called
MBDB to the ITAS Oracle 9i tables.
Production support and new report development using Oracle 6i
Reports. Created a variety of DRS notification reports where the data
was formulated using Oracle Reports data modeling. These reports called
upon background PL/SQL procedures which had to be modified and tested.

below budget and putting in over 300 overtime hours, Accenture
sponsored a banquet and a overnight stay in Boston in February 2004.
