PROFILE:
I am an Information Technology professional with 15+ years in areas of project
management, configuration management, software development, Systems Programming,
and database management. I am adept in establishing relationships with technical
and non-technical personnel to ensure optimal learning and support. Salary is
negotiable.

MAJOR PROJECTS & ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

•	Successfully migrated six Air Force DB2 subsystems and QMF applications to
version 8 from version 7.

•	Converted System and application Image Copy and Modify jobs to use LISTDEF’s
and DB2 Templates.

•	Created and delivered a document on HUDCAPS disaster recovery and assisted
client in modifying the HUD Business Resumption Plan to include this
information.

•	Resolved network communication between three office PC’s and two server
printers for Canaan Baptist Church office staff.

•	In response to OIG findings, I created and delivered a document on reducing
security exposures in the project using TOP SECRET IBMGROUPS.

•	As part of development testing used SAS to extract and manipulate data from
production tables and load it to the test tables

•	Created several jobs to monitor the performance of DB2 table/index spaces and
DASD space for performance tuning.

•	As part of the HUDCAPS production cycle analysis, I identified several QMF
queries that were not performing efficiently and recommended to the client that
the queries be redesigned to take advantage of the clustering index.

•	Converted indexes from TYPE 1 to TYPE 2 in an effort to take advantage of DB2
version 5 index enhancements.

•	Responsible for Y2K Systems and application testing. The testing included
developing test plans and checklist, installing Y2K testing software, applying
patches, applying maintenance, and coordinating software updates with vendors.

•	Coordinated the installation of DB2 3.1 and DB2 PM 3.2 at ten IRS Service
Centers and the development site. The installation included coordinating dates

Coordination included: cost analysis; creation of an information packet for
section members and field participants; approval of all topics and handouts;
submission of actual cost to budget personnel; and preparation of conference
agenda. Prior to implementation, I reviewed and tested deliverables from
contractors for the conversion of the Automated Collection System (ACS).

•	Spoke about RACF/DB2 Security at the 3rd annual RACF Conference. The topics
included an introduction to DB2, RACF administrator responsibilities, the
DB2/RACF interface, and ACS/ICS RACF groups.

•	Appointed Contract Office Technical Representative (COTR) for the redesign and

day-to-day operations of the team. Prepared division level project status
reports, employee evaluations, and attended mid-level management meetings with
users and agency personnel. In this position I reassigned work to fit personnel
resulting in an 85% decrease in backlogged work.
