I am currently the Senior Network Systems Engineer for the University
of Miami School of Law, a well-established post-graduate school located in
Coral Gables, Florida. My main focus is currently the resolution of issues
arising from basic network design deficiencies and the settlement of the
inherent complexities of multi-protocol LAN/WAN environments. I am currently
acting as head of the restructuring of the Law school’s network as well as
Manager of Special Projects. While acting as Special Projects Manager I have
enjoyed many success including the multiple migrations from Windows NT 4.0 to
Windows 2000 (including Exchange 5.5 to 2000), from Windows 2000 to 2003
(including Exchange servers and multiple domains) as well as the successful
phase out of our old Netware 6.5 environment.

Previous to my tenure at UM Law school I worked and traveled throughout United
States and Latin America. My responsibilities included the design, development
and implementation of multiple accounting, financial, administrative and
manufacturing applications. In addition to having conducted numerous
assessments and made practicable recommendations, I was given on several
occasions the managing role in various computer projects. My responsibilities
ranged from defining and procuring appropriate equipment and software to
advising on all facets of diverse applications life cycles.

I combine a strong technical background with direct knowledge of
mainframes, minicomputers, microcomputer networks and their
interfaces. I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSA/MCSE
2003 Messaging + Security) with specializations in Messaging and
Security. I also hold a VMware Certified Professional (VCP on VI3)
certification as well as a CompTIA Security+ certification. I have
strong and direct knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 2000 and 2003 server
technologies, VMWARE, Virtual Server 2005, Citrix, Netware, Juniper/NetScreen
firewalls, Foundry switches and routers, IBM xseries, DELL Poweredge servers,
WSS and many other technologies.
