electrically fired furnace. Did a new tank at FEVISA in Mexicali Mexico, and
several other locations around the world. The machines do side wall inspections,
(Veritas iC) base inspections (Veritas iB) and check inspections (Veritas iM).
The iB and iC use optical inspection computers demanding knowledge of setting up
optical tools to detect defects.

Xpondr Corp
Largo Florida 17 December 2005 to 15 September 2007.
Work with Electronic Asset Security (anti-theft tag) systems. These systems use
radio frequency technology that works with the B-field of a radio field.
When a tag enters the field (usually placed at the exit door of a store or
other controlled area) the system sounds a alarm indicating that the exclusion
zone around the exit way has been violated.

Also promote and help plan water level monitoring systems for tide, riverine,
lake or other water level monitoring that must be done remotely.

Utility Partners/ViryaNet
Tampa, Florida 01 Dec 1996 “ 8 Sept 2005
Worked for Utility Partners as wireless systems analyst and consultant
providing input and guidance to our customers who used wireless data in order to
exchange data with field technicians and other field personal.
Some of our customers for who I did work were:
Atlanta Gas Light “ RF Coverage study Motorola RD-Lap
Consolidated Edison “ RF Coverage studies (2001 and 2003) on CDPD (2001) and
CDMA (2003)
CLECO “ Wireless infrastructure assessment and coverage study
Hillsborough County Sheriff, comparative coverage study of 4 wireless
providers.
Two trips to Nigeria to investigate use of AVL to track stolen vehicles during
Nov. 2003 and May 2004.

While a member Professional Services Team. Job duties were to analyze and
document wireless solutions for data communications between the field units and
the host system running the Utility Partners products. An Work Management system
using a ORACLE database running on HP, IBM, SUN and LINUX servers. LAN/WAN and RF
data communication systems using a NT 4.0/Win2k/WinXP server as a gateway.
Working with Windows95, Windows NT 4.0, Windows2000, WindowsXP, UNIX (for HP,
IBM, & SUN) and LINUX (for low cost INTEL based server solutions).

Worked with sales and marketing visiting prospective customers with
the sales and marketing team, reviewing prospect's wireless data needs and
systems in order to make sure that the infrastructure was available for wireless
data. If there was none, we offered consulting services to the prospect to guide
them choose a wireless solution for their wireless data project.

In working with Utility Partners I became even more involved in
the installation and operation of the following radio systems:
--Trunked Systems:
 Ericsson EDACS
 EF Johnson LTR
 Motorola Smartnet
Securicore's 220 Mhz narrow band trunked system based on
 MPT-1327
--Conventional Systems:
 GE (Ericsson)
 Motorola
 Motorola Astrocom (data and voice)
 EF Johnson
 DataRadio on conventional legacy systems
--Private Wireless Data
 Motorola RD-LAP
 450 Mhz (25khz channels)
 800 Mhz (25khz channels)
 900 Mhz (12.5khz channels)

 DataRadio

--Wireless LAN
 802.11a,b and g

--Public Data Networks:
 Circuit Switched Cellular
 CDPD
 MobiTex (RAM Mobile Data)
 PCS
 GSM/GPRS/EDGE
 CDMA 1xRTT
 Satellite
I worked with radio systems spanning from HF (3-30 Mhz)
to microwave systems, including VHF Low Band, VHF, UHF, 800
Mhz and 900 Mhz.

Have done coverage studies of radio systems both practical and modeling.
I was also responsible for the design of internal software used to do
coverage studies centered on mobile wireless data networks, this software
in addition to capturing the usual data such as received signal strength,
BER, Base and Tower data, also captured latency data on the channel under
test. This allowed us to view locations where there were real communications
issues not apparent with just RSSI captures. Since the mobile software
tested against a host gateway, we could look at logs on both ends and determine
if the delays were on only one of the links, i.e. up or down link.

During June 2001, I did a comparative coverage study of two CDPD providers in
New York City for Consolidated Edison, the study involved gathering coverage data
on all 5 boroughs of NYC and Westchester County. Most of the study was done on
one or one and a half mile grids.

SELF EMPLOYED, RF CONSULTANT

PACCOMM PACKET RADIO SYSTEMS
Tampa Florida 1 July. 1991 - 26 Dec 1994
Worked with PacComm Packet Radio Systems in the
manufacture of packet radio controllers. I also did field support
for PacComm, and have traveled to Mexico, Russia, Kazakhstan,
Costa Rica, and various places in the USA.
During my time at PacComm I worked with many types of radios and have set up
data links over both conventional and trunking type radio systems.
I worked on some very complex radio equipment in the design and
interface of a special controller for a Harris High Frequency
band radio.
In the Trunking Radio area, I have worked on Ericsson GE GMARC
and DMARC systems operating the MDX series of radios. I have
worked on E.F. Johnson LTR trunking system radios. And I have
Also worked on Motorola Trunking, with the Motorola Spectra,

Central America 1986-1991 Self employed
During this period I started doing contract work installing wireless data
networks, first one installed in Guatemala for Del Monte, again
this was a System 36 and the link was over radio at 9600 Baud.
Installed many small short haul links in Costa Rica and Panama.
In 1987 took a contract for a large radio based network in Costa
Rica, this network operated at 19,200 Baud. There were two
computers and 28 terminals, along with two repeaters. After
installing the system we were given the contract to maintain
the radio system and a large number of PC's installed in the
offices.

I did the field support work for my small company in Costa
