Maintained a squadron of 24 F-15 aircraft ™s avionics systems. Direct
supervisor on three individuals, on aircraft maintenance and safety procedures in
the work place. Provided training and task certification for skill level
advancement (approx. 30 individuals). Reviewed maintenance management publication
procedures. Evaluated procedures for justification and practicality of
modifications. Systems include; Radar Warning Receiver, RADAR, communication,
navigation, fuel quantity, and flight controls. Inspects integrated avionics

U-2 Avionics Technician Journeyman
5th Reconnaissance Squadron, 9th Reconnaissance Wing, Osan Air Base, Korea, 2007

Operated avionics systems and associated test equipment on fleet of assigned U-2
aircraft valued at 594 million. Direct supervisor to two individuals. Validated
applicable configuration of installed systems and reconfigured as directed by
mission requirements. Preformed intermediate and organizational maintenance level
modifications and periodic phase inspections. Supervised and performed
inspections, installation, and maintenance on electronic warfare, intercept,
RADAR, and analysis equipment, in addition to special purpose support equipment.
Proficient in the theory of microwaves, RADAR, navigation systems, indicating and
recording systems, manual and automated flight control systems, ultra high
frequency systems, electronic warfare systems, data link systems, and
internal/external countermeasures systems, both component repair and aircraft.
Selected as shift lead, directly responsible for 15 individuals, planning and
scheduling their shifts, appointments, schedules, and training. Directly
contributing to a 96% mission capable rate while in charge, best rate since 2007.

providing 149 electronic warfare system pre-flights encompassing 268
intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions culminating in 1,989
mishap free flight hours over Northeast Asia. As well as being an emergency
response team member and extracting the pilot from a disabled U-2 aircraft after
an emergency landing caused by total hydraulic failure.

A-10 Communication, Navigation, and Electronic Warfare Specialist, Pope Air
Force Base, NC, 2003 to 2007
Provided 22 combat-ready A-10 aircraft worth, $330M for close air support,
forward air control, joint anti armor, battlefield air interdiction, and combat
search and rescue mission. Performed field-level maintenance on very high
frequency system (VHF), ultra high frequency (UHF), intercom control system
(ICS), lightweight airborne recovery system, instrument landing system (ILS),
flight and navigation instrumentation systems, tactical air navigation system,
radar warning receiver system (RWR), countermeasures dispenser system (CMS),
electronic countermeasure set (ECM, identification friend or foe (IFF) and mode
IV system. Loaded communication security (COMSEC) variable into aircraft.
Modified aircraft systems as directed by Time Compliance Technical Orders.
Maintained maintenance records in the Integrated Maintenance Data System and
aircraft forms. Communication Security officer, oversaw secret and classified
components.
