I set up a consulting company developing applications for various local
companies. I developed applications, made sales calls as well as developed a
marketing and advertisement campaign.
Accomplishments:
• Successfully developed .NET applications for Worth International that was used
by the State of Florida. The Executive Vice President eventually made an offer
for full-time employment from my home.
• Contracted as a developer and Project Manager for Integrated Data, Inc. (Now
Luke & Assoc. http://lukeassoc.com/). I met with their client, FMC Airport
Systems, to develop product definitions, outlined development schedules and
timelines, and assigned tasks to the development team. As a result, the company
successfully met a $5 million dollar contract and was able to develop the product
for resell to international clientele.
• I setup .NET hosting services and developed web sites for various small
businesses across the country.

I successfully interviewed and was hired by a major client (Worth International
Media Group) after the Executive VP had already dismissed other RCG personnel.
Accomplishments:
• Successfully developed the http://OfficialMeetings.com in .NET while the
ASP.NET was still in Beta. I initially used Notepad as the only development tool.
Regularly communicated with various Microsoft .net creators for assistance.
Product was initially created using Oracle and than switched over to MS SQL
Server. Also helped setup and maintained the company web server using IIS and
Windows 2000.

MODIS Solutions
I was hired by the Dallas consulting firm for a JC Penney’s project to be
written in Java. After I was hired JC Penney’s changed their plan and wanted the
project developed in ASP. In three days I learned ASP and started developing
applications. I developed the JC Penney’s catalog application to link to their
Teradata database.
Accomplishments:
• Successfully created an application for the JC Penney’s Sales & Marketing team
at the Penney’s headquarters in Plano, TX to create seasonal catalogs from
product descriptions pulled from their 1,000,000 line database. Used ASP and
Teradata database.
• Successfully created a communications application for AmeriCredit in Ft.
Worth, TX to upload/download millions of dollars worth of transactions each
morning using Kermit communications software which I learn on site.
• Successfully created an online application for PageMart in Dallas, TX that
allowed management to track and update PageMart retail stores across the globe.
Used ASP and DHTML.
• Consulted with 7thStreet.com as an administrator of the company web site for
7thStreet.com. Worked with company CEO and Executives to create an online
announcement of the company’s transition from a private company to a public
offering. Was successful in locking sensitive data on the public server to meet
FCC regulations. Also created an online application using the company’s automated
talking characters to announce the nominations for the 1999 Grammy Awards.
• Worked with the City of Fort Worth to successfully backup and restore
sensitive data to servers.
• Successfully created an online application for the AT&T personnel division in
Orlando, FL that would allow employees to fax sensitive personnel data to banks
to complete loan applications. Used ASP and Informix/DB2 database to communicate
with the AT&T company fax server.

successful completion of assignments to customer’s satisfaction.

Worked as a contractor for Dallas based PC Service Source which provided
warranty work and parts for major PC manufacturers. The company used 4GL
programming language to develop their E-Commerce site. They were the only company
to use the product at the time.
Accomplishments:
• In three days I was able to successfully learn 4GL and begin maintenance and
development of server side code for the company’s E-Commerce web site. As a
result, the company achieved a record $1 Million dollar in sales from their web
site in a single month.
• I created a special Java application that would time server response for the
company E-commerce site and send out a page to executives and IT management if
the servers were running slower than expected. I programmed the application to
display a running tally of the response time. The project was placed in open
display by management.
