Managed a design team between Fort Lauderdale, North Dakota and Las Vegas, which
provided drawing packages for schematic design and design development. Reviewed
and provided redlines for drawings constituting eight projects being worked
simultaneously, including site
infrastructure, hotel tower, central plant, casino expansion, a meeting and
convention center, a new casino, night club, retail dining and entertainment
complex, and three pedestrian bridges connecting the
hotel/casino with the parking garage.
Coordinated drawing packages and building systems with structural, mechanical,
electrical, fire protection, low voltage, audio visual,
surveillance and interior design consultants located in Fort Lauderdale, Miami,
Broomfield, PA, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Coordinated building sections with
structural and mechanical requirements, plumbing
fixture counts, power requirements, and locations for plasma TV monitors and
video surveillance cameras.
Designed eight ”canopy” concepts for outside retail area to shade pedestrians
from sun and rain.
Developed floor plan options for casino expansion, new casino and night club to
ensure space requirements and programmatic needs. Prepared
matrices, layouts and counts for slot machines, poker, blackjack and baccarat
tables.
Represented team at bi-weekly meetings with owners, consultants, and contractors
to discuss design changes.
Prepared drawing overlays to identify conflicts with underground site
utilities.

Performed analyses and documented the University of Florida campus and
environmental factors. Studied future developments within city of Gainesville and
their impact on the surrounding environment.
Revised the University of Florida Comprehensive Master Plan and integrated new

of an observational group study, creating design guidelines for the University
of Florida. Responsibilities included job assignments and
