•	Full P&L responsibility. Including, reviewing financial statements, sales and
activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal
achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program
improvements.
•	Oversight of daily production. Plant ran 24/7/365 with 50 employees.
•	Responsible for production schedule and manpower planning.

Industrial Engineer, Southeast Offset Inc 
Miami, FL, 05/2000-09/2001 
•	Reduced job production time 87% from 48 hours to 6 hours. Reduced product
changeover times 94% from 90 minutes to 5 minutes. Rework was reduced from 8% of
sales in 2001 to less than .1% in 2007. 
•	Designed low cost custom equipment to allow greater flexibility in color
placement reducing the need to purchase additional machinery. A $1.2M savings in
capital expenditure.
•	Initially implemented a simple paper Kanban system phasing over into an
in-house programmed web based MRP system. 
•	Paper inventory, which comprised 95% of raw material inventory, was reduced
from 16 weeks to 4 weeks adding $1M to cash flow and reducing floor space
requirements 50%.

•	Simonton Windows manufactures private label windows for Home Depot, Lowes,
Sears and Owens Corning.
