Software Developer II
Production/Application Support Programmer, responsible enhancing and testing for
12 internal and client facing applications processing in multiple environments
and used flat files, DB2 tables and M204 application files. During this time I
was responsible for monitoring our application process to ensure Nielsen’s
Mediavision batch process completed and that the data was delivered within the
client’s service level agreement.
Effectively coordinate with Agile Team, programmers, testers, and
product management to implement test and production level installs.
Work with Softspy to analyze and debug problems in M204 database.
Provided 2nd level support of the production environment for 3 client
facing applications – collaborating with Help desk and the Product Management
Team analyzing and resolving job problems.
Provided 2nd level support of 7 production applications – coordinating
with Local Production to analyze and resolving job problems.
Responsible for test and production installs, scheduling and execution
Grabix JOBs via CA7, ensuring files had been successfully transmitted via FTP.
Verified results using Embarcadero Rapid SQL.
Maintained libraries, which included JCL, Procs, loadlib, metadata
which met the needs of the Local Custom Applications team.
Create, investigate and resolve incident records in REMEDY related to
application problems and new projects. Researched missing files, inaccurate data

Prepared Mainframe System Production Tests for environment upgrades for

team of 3 contract employees maintaining the application process to ensure IBM’s
RAID, SCAD and MIS batch process completed and were delivered within the service
level agreement
